The Place - Goodreads. The Time - Whenever is convenient for you. For this task you will need to discover who is visiting Goodreads at the same time you are and what they are reading. Go to Online Now, click on page 6,7, or 8 and select one of the books that these fellow Goodreaders are currently reading to read for this task. You can visit the pages as often as you like.

If you need suggestions OR have suggestions for books to read for this task post them here.

Nicole | 1295 comments Question...do we have to start the book immediately or can me pick it now? In other words, would we need to read a page now to reserve it?

message 3: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 1295 comments Also...there is no page 7 or 8 (at least on mine)

Elizabeth (Alaska) LOL - there is no page 6 even.

Cynthia (pandoraphoebesmom) | 1332 comments You can pick the book now and start it later. You must just have been on when not a lot of people were on so check back at different times...also check the world list vs. your country list if you never seem to be on at popular times.

Coralie When I click on the link I only get those who are currently online in Australia, which gives me perhaps 6 to 8 names. How can I get the world list?

ETA I found the link - now I have 4 pages!

Coralie Now there are more than 8 pages. I just have to go online at 2.30 am.

Elizabeth (Alaska) Yep, I found that world link, which expanded my choices. Must get back to it and work some on this one.

It seems to be quite variable! I was on a few minutes ago, and there were lots of choices.

Nicole | 1295 comments It's pretty awesome! I went on and was able to find a book on my TBR!!!! Wahoo!

Elizabeth (Alaska) Do we need to tell who was reading the book we chose?

message 12: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia (pandoraphoebesmom) | 1332 comments You don't have to but you can.

Me, too, Nicoe!
I lost one book, though. I had noted a book, visited pages 7 & 8 and when I went back to page 6 the person was gone. Bummer. Tells you how quickly the list changes. Oh well...I think the book I found is higher on my TBR list anyways.

Felina | 0 comments I went on and found the second book in a series I've been wanting to read since forever and was able to fit the first book in so I'm really excited.

I did the same thing! I found The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo so I was able to do The Girl Who Played with Fire as my book for the "The (blank) Who...." task! Yay!

Felina | 0 comments Me too. Those were mine! But I fit the Girl Who Played with fire in Ms. Anderson's task.

How funny! I'm thinking I might even use The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest for the "Who, When, Where, Why" challenge. I'm leaving it open for now though, don't want to overdo one series in the same challenge.

Felina | 0 comments Good call. If I didn't want to read Four Past Midnight so bad I might do that as well. :) Who knows we still have like 10 more tasks that need to be filled I could put it for maybe.
