The Notebook (2004)

I'm looking forward to watching this, I found a copy of the book in the UBS then the next day a copy of the movie in the Supermarket....fate.

The Notebook (the book) was such a good book and the director in my opinion stayed really close to the book. There was of course a few differences but it was so close, defiantly one of his best books.

I shall probably get to watch it either over the weekend or next Monday and will definately post my thoughts here:) As I loved the book I'm sure I'll love the film, TBH the actors fit my mental picture of Noah and Allie at both stages in their lives and this carrries alot of weight with me already.

I didn't like the book and also the movie because I thought by myself is kind of contacting between 2 people and there is no sense and sensibility in the letters. It seems to be like documentary movie.

I think I liked the book a little more but the movie was good too!

The book didn't have enough detail for me I thort the movie had much more to give, the book was so short. I watched the movie first an found out there was a book an was shockd of how tiny it was, I was expecting lots of memory's an detail of how they fell in love an was disappointed they didn't have the sweet ending from the movie!!?
