This folder is for any side reads group members may have. Feel free to add any fashion/fashion fiction book you are reading and let us know what you think! This is a great place for two or more people to discuss books. A book can still become a group read even if it has been discussed as a side read.

Joanne I wanted the nonfiction book to have a lot of photos. I'm a slow reader and I like to look at pictures. Maybe we could have one of the side reads be something like that. I will look.

Victoria Moore | 71 comments I would love that. I love visual books, which is why I take so many photos and read a lot of children's books.

Joanne I just started reading Vogue: The Gown. I admit I' mostly looking at the pictures. Its great fun. My husband is even looking at the photos. I got it out from my library.

Victoria Moore | 71 comments I just read "Yves Saint Laurent" by Pierre Berge (Universe of Fashion), "tomboy style": beyond the boundaries of fashion by Lizzie Garrett Mettler and "Fashion Sketchbook 1920-1960" by John Peacock. I used the last book for my final project in Fashion 9A, "Fashion Illustration and Advertising", that I took at Santa Monica College this summer and got an A on it!
