I've got my blog up too, though I haven't updated it in a couple weeks coz of uni exams. It's at http://aasiyah-nolwynn.blogspot.com/
Kathy Anne, there's a button you can click on a person's blog to follow their blog. When you go onto your main blogger page, you can click on their blog and read their recent posts.
Kathy Anne, are you getting a blog? If not, you can add blogs to your favorite and follow it that way.

What an excellent idea for a blog. Following you guys now! :-)

So I'm starting all over again! Would be really honoured if any of you who followed me before would follow me again and of course I'm adding you all again.
Swept Away Again

Noelle, have you ever heard of blogs? If so, then blogspot is a place where people write blogs.

ROLFL, I guess that was pretty self expalnitory! I thought maybe it was another place like Amazon Communites and here. The only excuse I have for that brain laps is that I work with children.....very young children and it can zap your mind every now and then.lol

Yes, five times and sadly I wasn't able to recover any of it.

lol! :)
lol! :)

It really does. It was made worse by the service being automated and I could only fill in a form with limited information you could provide in the spaces. If you could provide information to prove it belonged to you, you might be able to get it back. Clearly I failed and gave up after 5 tries!

I don't know if this can be done, but I would try to save my blog page to my hard drive. Or at least save everything that I type on the blog. Maybe typing things up in Word before posting it on your blog. That way, you could have it, in case you make a mistake and delete your blog again. You wouldn't have to worry about really starting all over, just reposting things to your blog. The date will change, but at least you don't have to type things all over again.

So far I haven't found a way to back-up my posts unless I used Windows Live Writer to write my blog posts as it saved most of my posts when I used it when I first started my blog. Yea it's worth saving them to word or something if I loose it all again.

Ally,
That's awful about blogspot. But usually, if you delete a blog, you have the option to undo it for the next 3 months. I was on a group blog a while back, and one of the owners deleted it without telling any of us. From my blogger dashboard, I was able to go in to Settings, and was able to undo the delete, grab all my posts, and delete it again.
Just thought I'd tell you so you could check that option out.
I'll look you up and follow you.

I'm no longer using the Aasiyah/Nolwynn blog, and this is my new place:

Please come over and follow me. I blog daily during the week. Mondays and Fridays are my thoughts/WIP progress days. Tuesdays is silly tidbit/info day. On Wednesdays my spotlight is on writing, I feature an article on how to write then. Thursdays I feature an online article that can help with characterization and writing.
Looking forward to seeing you!! Thanks

I'm no longer on Blogspot. My book blog, TV blog and Movie blog is still on Blogspot. I don't know for how long. After blogspot deleted a different account that I had, I left.
I had exercise blogs and they deleted it for spam. They delete a lot of people blog for spam and the people blog aren't spam.
People can find your blog and mark it for spam and blogspot will delete it. They will send you an email letting you know that they have reviewed your blog and seen that it had spam on it. They lie, because if they did took out the time to review people's blog, they will see that it isn't spam. They don't even explain to you what was spam on your blog.
It's hard to get your blog back too. They don't have live support. They have forums, where members try to help one another. I have only seen one person on there that is suppose to work for blogspot and he tries to help people. Other than that, a person is stuck and if you go to the forums, you will see just how many people are stuck with problems they are having on blogspot.
Anyway, I'm on Wordpress. I'm starting my book blog from scratch there. My first blog over there will be about Sam, but I don't know, when I will get to it, because I am in the middle of something right now.
What I like about Wordpress, they not only have forums, where members can try to help one another. They have a live support. You can email them and they will respond right back to you, sometimes the same day or at least in two days. Some of them be on the forums as well.
I don't blog about every book that I read, only the ones that really catches my attention. If you go to my Blogspot account, you will see what I am talking about.
When I get my book blog up, I will share with you all my addy. If you want to check out my blogspot blogs, you can go to:

My personal blog: Wrapped Up In Books
I'll also be contributing to a blog started by Nairabell. It's for reviews and content warnings (i.e., explicit sex, drug use, graphic violence, etc), and was inspired by a discussion in the RRRC group. It was just started today, so there's only an intro post up, but here is the link: Bookaholic Blogs.
Feel free to post links to your blogs so the group can check them out! :)
