message 251: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments While my mother may be talking, she is about 3000miles away. However, last night it was my wife talking during the premiere of a silly show. Heh! Al, you might like it. It's about a world of mythical creatures who feed off humans. The protagonist is a female succubus who spent her teenage years accidentally killing her boyfriends by kissing them. It's great fun! I'm sure it's not great, but is truly fun as the writers incorporate banshees, medusas, sirens, etc. into the story lines.

TPBM has decided to kick up his/her feet and enjoy his/her favourite beverage instead of worrying about projects not yet done.

message 252: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Most definitely. Well, usually it is--now it's pretty clean. Under normal circumstances, however...

TPBM feels sick.

message 253: by Guy (last edited Sep 13, 2011 08:21PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not at all! Although I am about to stretch out on the rug for a 15 minute power rest while listening to music.

TPBM's bedroom has a desk next to a window that looks west.

message 254: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) My window does face west! (I think...I'm horrible with direction.) My desk-er, vanity-sits at the opposite side of the room from my window.

TPBM has had a panic attack.

message 255: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, several times. Once, on a test, I was so panicked I forgot how to spell 'is'. Another time, the only time in my life, I froze so badly during a chem exam that I failed it - but when I reviewed it afterwards with the prof, did it perfectly without him saying anything.

TPBM believes that growing old brings with it more freedom than it does responsibility.

message 256: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) I believe there is a threshold--once you get a certain age, "responsibility" becomes irrelevant. Unless you're evil; in that case, someone needs to keep tabs on you.

TPBM likes snickerdoodles. I'm not even sure what those are.

message 257: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Actually, I am eating the best homemade fresh plum pudding, with almonds, ever! With some green tea. Ahhhhh.

TPBM recently gave up reading a novel because it was too boring.

message 258: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Pretty much.

TPBM gets stressed out easily.

message 259: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Sometimes, but not always.

TPBM is about to need to use a dictionary.

message 260: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Not right now.

TPBM forgot about something.

message 261: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Not anymore! Just had a huge dinner.

TPBM hasn't exercised in awhile.

message 262: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Sigh, true. But I have good intentions.

TPBM doesn't know who Butch Cassidy or the Sundance Kid are.

message 263: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Unfortunately, I'm allergic to cats...and all other hairy animals. Guinea pigs and horses included.

TPBM has a very unusual pet peeve.

message 264: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, I have a very poor tolerance for intolerance. Does that count?

TPBM has petted a reptile.

message 265: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Yep! A class pet and a personal pet. Many crickets have my fingers touched...I was much braver five years ago than I am now.

TPBM needs more socks.

message 266: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Oddly enough, just the opposite. I went through my old shoes last weekend and tossed into the big shoe horn in the sky several pairs long since past their prime.

TPBM enjoyed Alice in Wonderland more than The Lion, The Witch and Wardrobe.

message 267: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) I haven't read Alice in Wonderland, but I did see the two movie adaptations (I disliked the most recent one, where Alice revisited her childhood fantasy/nightmare). I enjoyed both stories, just in different ways.

TPBM has a mysterious papercut.

message 268: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, as a matter of fact. But settled for homemade humus instead. Delicious!

TPBM nearly tripped and dropped something s/he was carrying.

message 269: by Jessica (last edited Sep 16, 2011 04:11PM) (new)

Jessica (eyrer) HUMMUS! I love.

Yes-I trip all the time, no matter what the terrain. If the ground's not full of unseen obstacles, I somehow always manage to trip over my own feet.

TPBM wants a massage.

message 270: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, not quite. My wife is, and I certainly have made them.

TPBM had ice cream for desert tonight.

message 271: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments Not exactly ice cream, more like just the toppings XD

TPBM owns a purple sharpie

message 272: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Oddly enough, I do, amongst an assortment of colours.

TPBM likes to take pictures without people in them.

message 273: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Most definitely.

TPBM has an important meeting this week.

message 274: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments Not at the moment, but yes, he does that :)

TPBM likes to watch Disney Channel.

message 275: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No. Although since I've never watched I cannot comment on liking it or not.

TPBM prefers to read graphic novels instead of poetry.

message 276: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, but I had a small one Sunday that didn't go away until late in the pm.

TPBM has a pair of striped socks in very bright colours.

message 277: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments YES YES YES!!! I love them! I have like, 20 pairs. Yes, I am eccentric

TPBM has a friend that might be pregnant.

message 278: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope — a yet to be tasted pleasure.

Last night I went to Michael Ondaatje's book reading/signing for his recently released The Cat's Table — thanks TT!

So... TPBM prefers The English Patient book to the movie.

message 279: by Emma (new)

Emma (Pinballwizard) I don't know?

TPBM is scared of spiders.

message 280: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not normally.

TPBM prefers Tofurky to turkey.

message 281: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments Story of my life.

TPBM missed me dearly?

message 282: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments I have not a cat.

(Keep him away from the Christmas decorations?)

TPBM is watching Youtube.

message 283: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments It's already snowed here.

TPBM wants to lie on their stomach because their back hurts sitting like this.

message 284: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments Nope. But I did have peach mango tea.

Tea or Coffee?

message 285: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments Cookies. Always. Cake is too filling.

Chocolate or White milk?

message 286: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) White--skim.

TPBM has qualms about Christmas.

message 287: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Definitely. I feel like I've wasted 2011.

TPBM will make resolutions and promptly abandon them.

message 288: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments NO I WILL STICK TO MY GOALS!!! I WILL SURVIVE!!!!! /lies.

TPBM likes using coding out of context.

message 289: by Guy (last edited Dec 19, 2011 09:04PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments True - especially when it comes in a GR unnoticed page change.

TPBM will open 1 present the day before Christmas.

message 290: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (dreamweaver38) | 509 comments I will open all my presents the day before Christmas. This is how Christmas works in my house. In fact half of them are opened the day before that. It's complicated and involves having to carefully plan travel time.

TPBM has no idea what the hell I'm talking about.

message 291: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Correct.

TPBM has already completed wrapping all the gifts that they will be giving away.

message 292: by Guy (last edited Dec 19, 2011 11:45PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yup. I've got to go pick up the drain cover to replace the one that's broken in our shower.
Sorry, no more shopping to do. :-)

TPBM is all thumbs when it comes to wrapping presents and they tend to look like the cat wrapped them.

message 293: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Pretty much.

TPBM really needs to go to sleep.

message 294: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) I'm sure of it.

TPBM has a crapload of homework.

message 295: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments My wife, for sure. Really, I don't care as long as it doesn't go on for too long!

TPBM snuck a freshly baked Christmas cookie while the baker wasn't looking.

message 296: by Edward (new)

Edward (edwardtheresejr) | 2434 comments Not exactly, but I've snuck some little snacks that we never allow ourselves to eat the rest of the year.

TPBM has been sick in the last month.

message 297: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) I've never had one, but they sound yummy.

TPBM needs some new socks.

message 298: by Edward (new)

Edward (edwardtheresejr) | 2434 comments As it turns out, yes, I do need new socks.

TPBM dislikes sitcom overloads.

message 299: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) YES. For the longest time, yes.

TPBM would quite like a fountain pen.

message 300: by Jessica (last edited Dec 21, 2011 09:20AM) (new)

Jessica (eyrer) I really want a nice DSLR.

TPBM has a headache.
