message 8401: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Who's Pink Floyd?

TPBM is peculiar about how he/she does certain things.

message 8402: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments It depends on what it is I'm doing, really. And to answer your question, Pink Floyd is a classic rock band that started in the late 60's and disbanded in the mid-90's. Their most noteworthy albums include The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, and Wish You Were Here to name a few.

TPBM is hungry for McDonald’s food.

message 8405: by Guy (new)

TPBM worked very late last night.

message 8406: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I didn't do much of anything last night or the day before. I was in zombie mode the whole time, which means I was too mentally exhausted to concentrate on creative work. I hate days like those.

TPBM enjoys the taste of mint-flavored iced tea.

message 8407: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Can't say I've ever tasted that.

TPBM is not a sport person.

message 8408: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments The only sport I care about is pro-wrestling, but that's more like entertainment rather than an actual sport.

TPBM finds nothing immoral about looking up total strangers on Face Book since it’s public information.

message 8409: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Oh no.... not at all *chuckles nervously*

TPBM has a wild and vivid imagination.

message 8410: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I'd like to think so. Not to toot my own horn, but I think my writing speaks for itself when it comes to crazy imaginations.

message 8413: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yes!! It was even my senior project in high school to write a script.

TPBM feels they have settled less on having dreams versus finding more realistic goals in life.

message 8414: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Any goal can be realistic as long as you put enough work into it. I'm not worried about aiming high and missing. I'm worried about aiming low and hitting the bull's eye.

TPBM used to watch Millennium as a kid and was deeply disturbed by the episode where Lucy Butler kidnapped a bunch of high school boys.

message 8415: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Feb 27, 2019 11:31AM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments In a way yes. I watched only a few episodes as a kid probably because it used to scare me a lot.

TPBM hates the amount remakes reboots and re-reboots of movies that keep coming out.

message 8416: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments As long as the reboots are good ones, I don't mind at all.

TPBM used to watch Ren & Stimpy when it was on Nickelodeon.

message 8417: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope.

message 8418: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Can't think of any celebrity at the moment. Also, Garrison, I was crazy about that show Ren & Stimpy! We didn't have cable so it was a treat renting episodes and getting stuff that was on VHS about it (including exclusive stuff just for that format).

TPBM has a favorite place to dine out.

message 8419: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments There's a Brazilian steakhouse in Seattle with all-you-can-eat meats called The Grill from Epinema (SP?). I'd eat there all the time if it wasn't so expensive. And yes, CJ, Ren & Stimpy is freaking awesome! :)

TPBM can translate the Spanish phrase “Toma mi Corazon” without using Dictionary.com.

message 8420: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I tried,I don't what 'Toma' is though... The only Toma I know, is a school mate.

TPBM prefers hard copy rather than soft copy.

message 8421: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I do. Hard copies are easier on my eyes, therefore allowing me to read in longer spurts. And to answer your question, "Toma Mi Corazon" means "Take my heart" when translated to English.

TPBM has a hard time leaving his or her own comfort zone.

message 8422: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes,well more like... not liking to leave it, but sometimes it has to be done.

TPBM is extroverted.

message 8425: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Not even close. I'm a hardcore introvert and I'm proud of it.

TPBM uses a pseudonym for his or her writing projects.

message 8426: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments No, not that i'm aware of *goes to google*

TPBM currently owns a pet (if so, wax poetic about them!!!)

message 8435: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Mar 17, 2018 06:32PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Sadly no. If I had my own choice in my situation I would at least want to have one though (And just in case you are wondering Caitlan I'd get a bunny!).

TPBM loves to go to the beach during the summertime.

message 8436: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments There is no beach here; my state is landlocked! It’s always been a dream of mine to live near the ocean, though.

TPBM is in the middle of re-reading a series or book by their favorite author (and if so, whom?!)

message 8437: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I only read books once, so I'll have to answer no to that one. If I could reread a book, though, it'd probably be "War Dances" by Sherman Alexie to see if I could still feel his emotionally painful writing.

TPBM enjoys the music of Nightwish.

message 8438: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments That band sounds familiar but I don't think I've heard much of their songs.

TPBM likes flavored sparkling water.

message 8439: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Hell yes! I especially love Sparkling Ices, particularly the black cherry and lemonade flavors. They used to make a green apple flavor, but they don't anymore for some reason, which is a shame since that was my favorite flavor. Oh well.

When watching horror movies, the trope TPBM would be disturbed by the most is brainwashing.

message 8440: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments OOC: In the words of Pink Floyd, "Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home?" It's funny that I'm using Pink Floyd lyrics to ask where everyone is, because there was a TPBM post earlier about that same band.

message 8441: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Lol good one Garrison.

To me one that disturbs me is getting a surprise from a killer!

message 8446: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Sunshine will always be beautiful to me, but when it's so hot outside that I get exhausted after walking to the grocery store, then it's best for me to stay indoors.

message 8447: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments If by busy, you mean just coming home from a Halestorm and In This Moment concert at two in the morning, then yes, I'd say so. Fun show!

message 8448: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Aug 20, 2018 09:33PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Nope. Too crude for my taste.

TPBM loves hearing (or reading synopses) from books though they may or may not ever read the books themselves.

message 8449: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments A synopsis is the book's major sales pitch, so I would hope it'd be exciting to read. With that said, I don't read synopses with the intent of skipping out on the book.

TPBM has no interest in watching the movie Whiplash due to the jazz teacher’s nasty behavior.
