Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments I'm actually looking forward to it, since I've never done them! It kinda sounds like fun :)

TPBM has a collection of old notebooks/sketchbooks that take up far too much space but simply can't be thrown away.

message 7952: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do. And since I am in the middle of a decluttering process using the KonMari method, it will be interesting to see if they still spark joy in me when I get to deciding on keeping them or not.

TPBM is enjoying a beautiful sunny morning.

message 7953: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments Indeed I am. I might even go for a walk to the convenience store in this kind of weather. :)

TPBM feels like eating a medium-rare steak.

message 7954: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments *touches arm* hmm not really, pretty normal skin-on-flesh feel I guess...

(Sport for the sass but I couldn't resist!) XD

TPBM likes marking up first drafts to edit later.

message 7955: by Garrison (last edited Apr 16, 2016 02:34PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments For Alex-Pie: I'm always in the mood for some sushi, especially if there's crab meat in the middle. Yum!

For Grace-Pie: That's what I'm currently doing with the stories that will eventually be part of a book called Poison Tongue Tales. The only problem is, I keep putting it off in favor of other creative tasks.

TPBM enjoys drinking unsweetened iced tea.

message 7956: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I'm not a huge fan of iced tea whether sweetened or unsweetened.

TPBM has tried writing in Gallifreyan.

message 7957: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments I have! It's hard. I can't translate it but I tried copying one that meant 'we're all just stories in the end' and it didn't really look how I meant it to...

@A whoops, I read your message wrong! Thought it said 'feels like sushi'... Ha :]

TPBM enjoys looking through pictures of interesting faces.

message 7958: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Sometimes.

TPBM like quiet places.

message 7959: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I love them a lot. My room and the public library are my favorite places of solitude. Introverts like me need their solitude every now and then.

TPBM can relate to Squall Leonhart from the videogame “Final Fantasy VIII”.

message 7960: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments I have never played any of the Final Fantasy games and so I can't say that I do.

TPBM dislikes horror movies.

message 7961: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do because I find them boring.

TPBM enjoys movies with minimal talking and music.

message 7962: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Not really, I like a lot of talking in movies. Long pointless conversations on the meaning of life and epic speeches are my favorites :)

TPBM has an interesting view out their bedroom window.

message 7963: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Nope, it's mostly blocked by a tree.

TPBM adds books to their tbr list far faster than they read them.

message 7964: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Yeah. There is so much to read still!

TPBM has read any of Neil Gaiman's books.

message 7965: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I've mostly finished Smoke and Mirrors. I began it because a web page that examined my writing compared me to his a few times.

TPBM doesn't finish every book s/he begins.

message 7966: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I try really hard to finish every book I start, but sometimes they're just so bad I can't make myself go any farther.

TPBM hates it when the intro for a classic novel spoils the ending of the book.

message 7967: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Yeah, I don't usually read the introductions to classics. They usually seem to miss the point and then I can't enjoy the book :)

TPBM has a hard time actually reading the articles in magazines and newspapers.

message 7968: by Guy (last edited Apr 17, 2016 09:41PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I didn't used to, but it has become a challenge. Actually, I'm in a phase where my body is rejecting most book, kind of like an allergic reaction.

TPBM usually doesn't watch the videos on YouTube, but listens to the music while doing something else.

message 7969: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Youtube and Pandora, yes.

TPBM is currently waiting on the next book in their series to be published and wants it now.

message 7970: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments It's not necessarily a series, but I am waiting for a book to come out in 2017. It's called "Crazy Is My Superpower" and it's a memoir written by former WWE diva AJ Lee (writing as AJ Brooks, her real name).

TPBM enjoys the song “Evil Ways (Justice Mix)” by Blues Saraceno.

message 7971: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I can't say I've listened to it.

When TPBM knows a friend is taking a long trip, they like to send them a text to make sure they arrived there safely.

message 7972: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments My parents are currently visiting North Carolina to try and sell a house they bought. Since my phone doesn't have texting capabilities, I usually wait until they call me the next day, which they have. They have a good feeling about how quickly it'll sell, which means we'll probably have enough money to take a vacation to Disneyland. :)

TPBM wonders why the buildings in fighting videogames from the 1990’s always look dilapidated no matter where the characters are.

message 7973: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Never thought about that.

TPBM wishes he/she could play an instrument.

message 7974: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I play the piano and used to play the violin, so that's not a regret I have.

Garrison, I'm going to North Carolina this weekend! I hear it's beautiful there.

TPBM wishes desperately that they were good at dancing.

message 7975: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes!

TPBM has visited numerous museums before.

message 7976: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope. Thank goodness.

TPBM has seen a re-enactment of a Shakespeare play.

message 7977: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments Unfortunately, yes, I have. I'm not a fan of Shakespeare since I can't decipher his dialogue, so seeing his plays weren't enjoyable experiences.

TPBM enjoys the acting work of Nicky Katt.

message 7978: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Not in real life, though I'm dying to! It would be so awesome :D

TPBM wants a motorcycle.

message 7979: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments I have one but I do want another one. I'm greedy I guess.

TPBM wants a pocket-watch.

message 7980: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes yes yes yes!!! They're so cool. My friend even has one with his name engraved in Gallifreyan on the outside.

TPBM is totally up for second dinner.

message 7981: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not at all.

TPBM spent a long time in a car today driving or being driven to an event of some kind.

message 7982: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments The only reason I've been in a car today was to go to dinner at the China Sun Buffet. Good food, good family, good friends.

TPBM enjoys the acting work of Nicky Katt.

message 7983: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Can't say I know of her.

TPBM knows hand sanitizer is most effective when you scrub your hands with it.

message 7984: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I didn't know that until you told me.

TPBM has seen the movie “Brave Little Toaster” and thought it was cute and depressing at the same time.

message 7985: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LOL! Great title, but no I haven't. 'Cute and depressing', eh? Sound like a great endorsement.

TPBM hasn't heard about candida toxicity and its link to the industrial diet of our time.

message 7986: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments I've heard about it, but don't know much about how it works... does it have something to do with sugar and processed grains getting your gut all wonky?

TPBM enjoys the possibilities posed by vampires and werewolves in stories, but rarely enjoys the actual stories they appear in.

message 7987: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Correct. I like character driven plot lines and writing, and often writers manage to mangle that with vampires and werewolves. Although I did enjoy the movie series with Kate Beckinsale as a vampire killing werewolves. (It added to the enjoyment having seen Kate in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing as the meek and mild much slandered maiden.

[Candida - yes to grains and sugar, but that wonkiness in the gut affects the entire body, and can effect even the emotions, fatigue, allergies, getting colds, acne, and a myriad of other things all the way up to MS, cancer and death.]

TPBM enjoys writing sonnets, even if they aren't very good.

message 7988: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I don't like doing poetic formats that restrict what I'm going to write, sonnets and haikus being two examples. I want as much freedom as possible when it comes to my craft.

TPBM knows at least one example of a male named Stacy.

message 7989: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Apr 25, 2016 08:19PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Hmm... maybe not but there's still time.

TPBM has at least one big collecting hobby.

message 7990: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments In my case, I collect CD's, books, and Legos. It's quite the extensive collection. :)

TPBM has already purchased a Mother’s Day present.

message 7991: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Ooh. No, I haven't yet--thanks for reminding me, I'd actually forgotten! :]

@Guy that's really interesting to hear! I'm gluten intolerant myself, and I know that the gluten was doing strange things with my brain and mood before I got off it--I wonder if the poisoning had something to do with that as well?

TPBM enjoys preparing food.

message 7992: by Guy (last edited Apr 25, 2016 10:51PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, very much so!

[And yes, I would suggest that there is a link. Gluten itself hurts the filia in the stomach lining and that impedes digestion, amongst other thing, such a 'leaky gut'. The poisoning in your case was likely a combination of things, but heavily on the side of improperly/inadequately digesting food. You will likely find reading up on Candida Toxicity interesting. A good start is to find interviews with Ann Boroch, or get her book The Candida Cure .

TPBM did something charitable for someone or for an organization today.

message 7993: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments No, but I wouldn't mind spending a few days at the Kitsap Humane Society to give the animal babies attention.

TPBM would actually like to go to a hell-themed amusement park called The World of Darkness (it exists a novel I’ve finished reading called “Swamplandia” by Karen Russell).

message 7994: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LoL! It sounds like fun, but I'm not a theme-park kind of guy, so would probably pass.

TPBM is interested in reading ancient texts to see that the expression of the human condition hasn't really changed all that much.

message 7995: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments "The one thing we learn about history is that we learn nothing from history." That's one quote that has to do with what Guy just said. Another one would come from George Carlin, who said "We're barely out of the jungle on this planet." He also said, "We're semi-civilized beasts with baseball caps and automatic weapons." To put it shortly, yes, I agree with you, Guy.

TPBM is managing to stay cool in this springtime weather.

message 7996: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I am. Today, very easily, as it didn't get much above 50F today.

TPBM managed to complete some research today that had been bogging him/her down.

message 7997: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Not research, but I was able to finish editing a story about an hour before I was supposed to post it, and that was a big weight off my shoulders :)

TPBM has actually read the Ramayana.

message 7998: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not that one. I've read the Bhagavadgita, which I love! And I'm slowing skipping through various translations of the Upanishads. The research I managed to complete was finding particular references from Yoga Vasishta.

TPBM enjoys fresh ginger with chocolate.

message 7999: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Never tried it but I'm sure it's good!

TPBM loves fresh food from the bakery.

message 8000: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I used too, when the bakery was a good one. I'm not eating bread right now, and so I'm getting food pleasures elsewhere at this time.

TPBM loves to smell coffee much like s/he smells flowers.
