I've been & will be a little out of the loop through tomorrow if not Wed - our apt complex is being wired for fios and without hubby here (he started his new ft job today!), I'm here on call for it. What a project this is turning into! lol Hope everyone had a great weekend, a lovely Mother's Day and is having a great start to the week! I'll catch up soon!

So, tell me, are fios fiberoptics? If so, you will be so glad to get them. Everything runs so much faster...

Yes, the fiberoptics wiring is being installed in the complex. None of us are switching to fios though, none of us want it! We're all very happy with the services we have currently and can think of Many other things that management could be doing to better upgrade the complex - like re-doing all of the electrical that's overloaded and over 30 years old first off, lol!

It's just something management can use in their adds for vacancies ("Cable ready and now Fios ready") plus they're getting a buttload of money from Verizon to be able to install the wiring And Verizon now "leases" the space where the fios wiring gets and pays management a fee each month.

Oy! Well, I was "off" yesterday and now the wire install continues today & tomorrow. (For the apts, they'lll be on the property longer but I won't have to be here the entire time once they're done in the apts).
