Amara's grin was real for the first time,"Sounds like fun...I wish I could do that."

Amara laughed,"Well Mister tough guy.....excuse me for not measuring up. Well...I guess I can get my stuff later...it wasn't much to begin with...just the greatest view." She looked sad.

"I've known him years though," he said. "You'll catch on."

She started walking,"So....where is this place you speak of....what are the rules of being there...?"

"Rules...don't let Jato in," he was kidding, but just barely.

Amara frowned,"Like I'd want to....I meant...well you said it was like a boarding place...is it like a school?" The memory of her mother passed through her mind. She was dancing with her mother beside her as her teacher. Then the attack. She would never learn without her mother. Who was it that attacked them?

"There are classes for those who wish to take them," he answered.

She looked thoughtful. The images still pulsing through her head. ENOUGH!!! she said to herself. "Okay...thanks....," she thought again. Crap...I'm starting to like him... ,she sighed,he was right she frowned at herself.

Muse shuffled his feet absently. "So, what say you?"

Amara decided,"I'm coming...only thing...can we run there?"

Amara breathed deeply then set off. She was insanely fast. She used her senses to locate the place. She also waited for Muse.

Muse took off almost immediately after her.

Amara suddenly felt shy as she neared the place she slowed down and hesitated. She bit her lip feeling overwhelmed. She hid behind Muse smoothly enough it looked as if she was moving around him rather than she was nervous.

Muse slowed and walked up to the door, walking in.

Amara trailed after him holding on to his shirt without realizing it. Memories flashed but she tried to put it aside to try this. "I'm scared," she whispered.

Scared why? But it wasn't a flippant thought, it was gentle.

Amara let the images sink in and she put down her guard and let him see. The attack....the bullies....the place that looked like this where you dad was killed. It was hurtful but she was being honest.

Amara thought about Jato and shook her head... He looks like the person who attacked my family....I don't want to be left with him.

I said...that Jato looked like the man that attacked my family....green...the green was very very similar...I don't know of anyone else with that sort of style but him... She sighed,"I'm not scared of him...I just don't like him."

"But then...why was I left alive and no one else? Both of my parents are dead and so are my sisters," she said confused. "I doubt he had any sympathy."

He shrugged. "Maybe he liked you."

Amara gasped,"DON'T SAY THAT!!! I'd hate for it to come to that. He's creepy and annoying and evil. Besides I didn't do anything for him to like me...except hate him."
