Baradon grinned,"It's too late now...I have now served my purpose...your other siblings are dead...I hope you enjoy your empty life...as for Amara....the lab has her."

"She's dead," he spat.

"No.....she's alive....didn't you put her body down? You will never have her....," he laughed and spit up blood.

Muse tightened his grip.

"She really is...but why should you care...she's going to do the rest of our dirty work," he laughed two more times before becoming still.

Muse dropped him but didn't leave him alone, attacking him ruthlessly.

A black cat walked up to Muse and meowed. "Follow me..it seemed to say."

Muse looked at Salem, who was still on the ground. He wondered if he should leave her there or not.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

The black cat sat then cocked it's head then spoke,"A rush of breeze when evening comes with the tide and moon begins the drums. They wait they watch and know you're here....begin your journey without your fear." It sniffed Salem's wound.

She twitched at the proximity of the cat, though she wasn't conscious.

Muse saw and sighed, looking Heavenward. "So I leave her?"

The cat meowed and poked at Salem. Then began licking her wounds which began to close up.

Muse decided he'd be better off with Salem than without. He watched in fascination as the cat did its thing.

The cat finished then poked Salem again with it's paw.

Salem's eyes opened slowly and she swatted lightly at the cat in surprise.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

The cat jumped and hissed at her in scolding for her swatting. It then turned away and liked it's spiked fur.

"Sorry," she mumbled, sitting up and running her hands through her hair. "And thanks."

It looked at her and meowed. Then it jumped to it's feet and ran off. It paused partway and looked at them and meowed.

Salem and Muse exchanged a silent glance and then followed the cat.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

The cat ran off into the rising sky. It stopped and then spoke,"She spoke of hope with love no fear but soon was put to saddened tear....but now her heart has froze as stone and fire burns through her weakened bone...find her spirit to put her at rest...the lab isn't far leaving now is best."

"Would you mind decoding that?" Muse inquired.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

The cat's eyes narrowed as it began to slink off,"You would know of which is true...use the mind your mother gave you."

Normally, Salem would've laughed at that, but she was in a very serious mood.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

It was nearly gone moving quickly to the spot where a dark shadow stood.

Salem got there first, Muse just after.

The shadow vanished and the cat began running again. It slowed down and crept closer...crawling towards a subway station,"The empty darkness begins here...and Death's keen eyes will soon appear.....to see you dead with rotting cold....without your hearts your love your soul..."

"Plain english please?" Muse complained irritably.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

The cat glanced at Salem expectantly. ((He's assuming she understands))

((I don't understand it...Salem does, but she won't tell me. ;]))

((Ah......creatures are waiting in the subway to kill them. They have to get passed the creatures and still travel through the subway...the cat is warning them. :D))

Salem nodded. "So basically, there are some creeptastic monsters down there. They want us dead. So, therefore, we also want them out of the way."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

The cat nodded and meowed in praise. He flicked his tail and glared at Muse. ((If you hadn't noticed this cat can only speak if he is speaking in a riddle type form. For now anyways.)) He then moved closer and stopped at the entrance and looked around. His fur stood up as he hunched down in anger.

Muse scowled. "So I'm not a poet. Sue me."

Salem walked up behind the cat and peered in.

The cat snapped at him,"Instead your mouth to run so long....hurry in and fight the wrong."

"I think I got that one," he mumbled.
Salem looked at him. "Shut up and come on."

The cat disappeared into to darkness. The smell of blood and rotting bodies was thick in the air.

I can smell them.........shhhh......they come

Voiced whispered.

Salem breathed in deep. Tasty, she thought sarcastically to herself like she normally would.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"Follow....before the mist of darkness can swallow....your being....your seeing....it all can happen too soon.....hurry before the rising of the moon....in which awakens those who are in a slumber," the cat whispered. ((It's the poetic remix!!! The cat is rapping now. :D))

"We are hurrying," Muse mumbled quietly.

((Thanks :D Well it's talking about with the rising of the moon as mist will settle and then awakes the dead shadows....which are hard to defeat...it's easier if one gets passed when the sun is still out.))

The cat snapped a glare,"If not faster....they will cast her....into the room....which will loom....with chains of torture....she dies in pain for.....your wasting of sunlight."

The cat began to run in front,"No fool...the young one girl...who will pay for blood and blood to rain if you do not find her in time again."

Salem didn't look at him, remembering what the cat had said.

He ran quickly and skid to a stop. He prowled around the corner,"Their voiced ring...beware the sting...," the cat hissed. A weird buzzing sound came from the other side.

Salem stopped Muse from going further, but then let him go.

The cat sniffed and glanced at Muse. His eyes doubted Muse's powers.
