Books You Have Bought
Last night I bought
on my Nook for $0.99 and tonight I got
for $1.99 on my Nook.
This morning I bought

tonight at B&N with a 20% coupon.
Went to Half Price Books today to sell some books and came home with

I forgot last night I bought the audio of
on iTunes for $5.95
Since my last post I've bought
and
both audiobooks for $5.95 and this morning I found
for $2.99 on my Nook :)
So I have bad news and good news…the bad news is that my favorite local indie bookstore closed on May 2…it was the place where I discovered new authors and more books from authors I’d already had the pleasure of reading. It is also the place where I met wonderful ladies who share the same passion for reading as I do…every month we would meet for our face to face book club…it was the highlight of each month for me…now that the store has closed, our book club will still meet but it will be in a restaurant or some other location…I will still go but it won’t be the same Now to the good news - since the store was closing, they were trying to get rid of all their merchandise…it was $5.00 for a bag of books (15 books)…so I got 3 bags!!! My mom also got 2 bags that she is basically holding for me at her house…she might read them but I think she just got them for me and to help the owner of the bookstore make a little more money before she closed the store…also, I recently went to the library and donated a bag of books and they had a little book sale, where they were charging only $1.00 for 3 paperbacks and a $1.00 for hardbacks. I ended up getting mostly paperbacks and about $7.00 of hardbacks. I was so excited! I love going to book sales!!!
So here is the list of books I got between the bookstore closing and the library sale – please look through the list and let me know if you have read any of these and if so, what are your opinions on the books? Oh and by the way, I only paid $1.00 for The Outlandish Companion by Diana Gabaldon (hardcover), which for a normal retail price would go for probably $20.00! I was so happy!!!
