I know, really!!! Like today's teen female population needs any further poor influence to their "others will only accept you if you're insanely, perfectly skinny" mentality!!

As for the series getting revamped....it kind of sucks bc these books are like classics that shouldn't be changed. Just like many of the 80s movies that have been remade lately. It just takes away so much from what made these stories so special.
No, I don't think I ever read the Saga novel, but if had done so at the time, I'm sure I would've also loved it!

Then I know I would've loved those books! I was a huge historical romance fan, having read the YA Sunfire and Swept Away series and so many others!! Then as I got older, it progressed to adult authors such as Kathleen Woodiwiss, Victoria Holt/Phillipa Carr, Johanna Lindsey, Catherine Coulter, Elizabeth Lowell, etc. I still read an occasional historical romance now and again, but not as adamantly as I used to!

Hi, Debbie!
That was very cool!!! Thank you so much for sending me this link to your interview (I signed up for a T-shirt too, very cute!!)!! I will definitely read this book when it comes out!!
I see that you volunteer to do reviews. I had a Goodreads member contact me to do a review of his YA science-fiction/fantasy book, but it's only available through Kindle, which I don't own, or through the computer, which I can't sit through to read because I have a herniated disc in my neck and can't be on the computer for longer than 15 minutes! Would you be possibly be interested in helping him? If so, please let me know and I'll direct him to your website so that he can contact you!
Thanks again!

Glad to post about it since I loved SVH.
For the review. What book is it? I'd like to read the book blurb first. Thanks!

The Adventurion, which is a short story, by Michael Robb. This is a pen name, his real name is M.R. Mathias if you want to look him up here on Goodreads.

In looking at the cliquey pizza website (posted it under the "General" thread!), I also found, and now remember, the Caitlin Series written by Francine Pascal! I think I only read the Love and Promise Trilogies, but there was also the Forever Trilogy. Did anyone else read these?
