Personally I feel I connect with Lev. I mean would I be able to blow myself up for the others... no I think I would get to the end and want to help others in a different way. I am not really radical. I also connect with him because I think when I was around his age adults hid too much from me as well. Everything seemed good, life has no problems. Then you grow up like Lev did and realize there is a lot more to the world then high school drama.

I agree that I wouldn't be able to blow myself up. You know- sometimes you get in a bad mood and say mean things but then you cheer up and realize what an idiot you have been. I think that's kind of what happened to lev. He was so busy being bitter about everything he didn't stop to admit to himself that there were people he cared about- connor & risa- and that he could take this new opportunity at life and make something of it. When he was at the harvest camp he did admit that he cared about whether risa and connor were safe and I think that was a turning point. If they hadn't been at the camp he would have clapped. When they were going to be unwound he did what he could to save the only two people in the world he cared about and that progressed into wanting to do good things- which included not blowing himself up..... though- if the other two hadn't gone through with the clapping they all would have been unwound.

Right. Blowing oneself up doesn't seem quite as impossible if you're about to be murdered anyway and don't think there is any way out of that.

Just to be different I'm going to say CyFi/ Ty. He became a hero, too. Speaking before Congress, trying to change the system, standing up for Lev.
I did hope that CyFi's dads would've noticed Lev at CyFi's meltdown and taken him in too...
