Man, I hear you Michelle. I have this major problem with reading WAY too much. Every year I read all of the books I barely buy from Barnes and Noble and can't stop reading! That's why I love this website so much! I can get greatly recommended books from great readers like you guys!

message 115: by [deleted user] (new)

message 116: by Mccaul (new)

Mccaul (ryanmccaul) HAha! Itook a nap today too! I haven't had one in years!

message 117: by Sella (new)

Sella Malin Lol, Clare! I NEVER take naps, ever. I just can't...I don't know why...but congrats, Clare!

message 118: by Clare D' Lune (new)

Clare D' Lune | 52 comments I know!!!!!! I can't stand sleeping with light, and we don't have good shades, so its always horribly over light in our room... GGRRRRRrrrrr!

I never take naps... I hardly sleep at all considering the normal sleeping habits for ppl my age, but I LOVE staying up superly late : )

IDk, I was just studying my retarded Drivers training manual (AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH i'm so bad at cars!!!!!)and my eye wouldn't stay open... it was really weird.

message 119: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) i'm not a very car-y person either. But I can't wait til' I'm old enough for drivers' ed. (2 months!)

message 120: by Clare D' Lune (new)

Clare D' Lune | 52 comments lol.... good luck! I hate it. All the guys have know what the teacher guy is asking since they were like 5 years old, and I'm struggling lol!

message 121: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha Ha well good luck with your drivers thingy. I can't wait to drive a car. Because then I can go to barnes and noble, borders or the library (I don't really like the library though...) anytime I want! It will be pretty awesome!

message 122: by Clare D' Lune (new)

Clare D' Lune | 52 comments You don't like the LIBRARY?!?!?!? : 0!!!!

Do you ever try ordering your books from the library off the library system? Or do you have a library system? Where do you live anyway?

message 123: by Clare D' Lune (new)

Clare D' Lune | 52 comments I almost NEVER get books from the library it's self cuz ours is nice but small... I've already read weverything of interest there... But I always order books I want... : )

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

I live in Utah and I guess it's because the library doesn't have certain books that you really want to read about, like in a series, they have like the 2,3,5,6 books but not the 1 or 4 books.

message 125: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) ARGH! I hate when that happens! Or they will have every book but the last one, and then you can never know what happens!

message 126: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes! exactly! That's why I don't really like the library.

message 127: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Well, I do like the library because the bookstore isn't close enough. I also like to borrow books from my friends. We sort of have our own library thing going a bit, but there is no checking out or renewing or returning on time that we have to worry about. It is also based almost entirely on recommendations from each other.

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

Cool!! I have this problem with lending out my books to people, I like my books to be close to brand new. Once I lended one of my books to a friend and when I got it back it was practically ruined!! so I'm always paranoid about lending out books.

message 129: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 14, 2008 02:51PM) (new)

I'm Callie, by the way, And want to hear my story about lending books and getting them back horrible?
Well, I lent TWILIGHT to my friend, and I got it back with the cover totally messed up. The cover had been bent, and it had white lines going through the black. *sigh, I don't think I'll be lending anymore books to my friends, unless they will take care of it.

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

See? A perfect example for lending out books to people! thank you Callie! That's why I can't stand Lending things If they want something they can get someone else or get one themselves. "D

message 131: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, I had to put thick pieces of tape over it to keep it from getting worse, so everytime I read it at school, everyone's like, What happend to your book?

message 132: by [deleted user] (new)

oh.. that's so sad!!! It's quite a horror when you see a badly managed book.. :(

message 133: by [deleted user] (new)

I know, I keep wanting to buy another one, but I got it for my birthday from my friend . . .
And I was talking to someone about it the other day, she said that if she had messed up a book like that, she would've gone and bought me another one!!

message 134: by [deleted user] (new)

I would have too! If someone ruins what isn't theirs, they can have your old copy but they owe you a new one!!

message 135: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm in Farmington! Who else in this group is from Utah? I'm curious now!! "D

message 136: by [deleted user] (new)

Yep! But I'm closer to the kaysville border (or in this case, cherry hill.)

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

Neat! What school do you go to? It's fun isn't it? :D

message 138: by [deleted user] (new)

Cool! :D I go to Millcreek in Bountiful. I originally would have gone to Farmington Jr High but I was accepted into the Millcreek Jr. High honors program so I'm going there instead.

message 139: by [deleted user] (new)

chose to stay with your friends and go to a great school where your dad was one of the teachers?

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. I really wanted to go to Farmington but my mom didn't approve of the school. So I had to leave all of my best friends and some really cool teachers to go to a school I didn't even know existed.

message 141: by [deleted user] (new)

No, I just don't think I liked it as much as I would've liked Farmington. It was pretty boring though. "(

message 142: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah... it's pretty hard to find a good school with some excitement.

message 143: by [deleted user] (new)

what?

message 144: by [deleted user] (new)

Whoa!! that's pretty intense. are you okay? That must be pretty shocking for you and your schoolmates.

message 145: by [deleted user] (new)

okay. Well that is quite an adventure for a year! Woo!

message 146: by [deleted user] (new)

oh pish! You had something happen to your school! that's at least close to an adventure!

message 147: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Wow. I feel so sheltered. My school is like...perfect(well, socially anyways. i would say that the classes are okay, the teachers okay, the lockers to tiny for most people, okay for me...). Anyways, It might just be my grade. Nobody really gets busted for drugs, or pregnant, or so depressed that they kill themselves. There was a kid who died two years ago in a snowboarding accident though. Apparently he donated his organs and some lady got his retinas so she could see.

And also, not in my entire school (I've seen things happen in the 7th/8th grade choir involving 7th graders) but in my grade, people don't really tease each other that much. Our school doesn't have any very serious bullying problems. Sure there are the popular kids, but in truth, the most popular kid at our school is popular because he's so nice, and not because he's a jerk who picks on the right people and has the right clothes. Also, people who are smart have others just a tiny bit in awe(a tiny bit! not much!) of them.

So my school is extremely weird, but in a good way.

message 148: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) No, I live in Michigan. Unless your asking somebody else...then I would feel like a dork.

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

") Well we all do what we do!

message 150: by [deleted user] (new)
