I do this as well that way there is no mix up between the books. They are all so completely different that it is easy to keep them apart

Great to find I'm not alone.


I also read mysteries, almost exclusively. If I tried to read more than one at a time I'd end up forgetting which clue came from which book. :)

When I was in high school, I finished an awful translation of "All Quiet on the Western Front" within a few hours, but moaned about it the whole time. I re-read it later with a good translation and took my time. Language is an important thing.

I try for one book at a time. I always like to finish a book so sometimes if I lose interest I will start another before getting back to the first.

haha same for you..I say this because I read alot of books at a time- take Sir Walter Scott's Rob Roy- been reading for over 5 months- finally finished- after reading over 70 books at same time!

Chasta- happens to me too! Rob Roy took me over 5 months to read!! enjoyed it...in small amounts at a time- read about 50 books during same time

Wally..I love to have multiple books going..but as we near the end of the year- I am reading James Mason member books only as I always place their books above all others and I want to complete my reviews.
