RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Does a full moon change behavior? Because that sucker was huge this morning.

Teachers I know seem to reference the full moon when the kids are bonkers. What do you think?

Anthony Buckley (anthonydbuckley) | 145 comments I was at a conference once when a fellow participant became progressively eccentric, until eventually he went quite mad, with a psychotic episode that did not disappear. The climax of all this took place at the end-of-conference party which coincided with a bright full moon in a lovely clear sky.
This event impinged greatly upon me, for a friend and I were given the job of bringing him back home on the plane, with a change of planes at London.

All I can think of is a butt plastered against a window when I read the title, and my mood usually lightens when I see one.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments The seasoned psychiatrists (i.e. the ones who've been practicing for 15+ years) in our department have told me on several occasions that they stay busy on days when there's a full moon. Seriously. Like, they've told me they can anticipate to cancel any plans before they've made on days they're scheduled to be on call when it's a full moon.

Me too, Zen. I feel the best during full moons. And I like them during the equinox especially.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments OMG, my favorite is the Harvest Moon... when it's HUGE and full and blood-orange.

Desperado (lethallovely) As a teen, my mom always cautioned me not to stay out late on full moons. She said people act crazy as hells & that she didn't want to see on the Channel 9 news. But then again, she also made me stay in the house on St. Patricks day. Something about drunken irishmen walking down Central Ave making fools of themselves.
