1. i think the hermit was a man who cared about his family, and hid to escape the publicity that he may had been accused of killing his wife and child. his hut seems like a quiet place, but relaxing when yopu just need to think.

2. fi falls in love with homer, so Ellie tells that homer shares the same feelings, and that she should take a stab at it. Ellie also told her that it is better to have loved and lost than to hjave never loved at all.

3. they find the coroners report and a few of the personal belongings of the hermit behind a rock in the cave.

4. lee and ellie share a passionate moment, which leads to her being confused.

5. courage: to take a stab at something. if you make a mistake, you show courage by trying again.
friendship: friendship is where you trust someone enough that you can trust them with your deepest, darkest secret.
family: family can include your best friend and biological members. it can also include members of a step-family and foster family's. that is a special thing to have.
war: war is not a nice thing. it seperates family, and can impact the way some people see things. i personally think that war must come to an end and never start again because it takes too many lives.
survival: for me, you don't need money to survive. you just need a good job and a family, and you can survive anything. if you don't have money, then family may help you through this.

I think the hermit is embarrased and ashamed, because apparantly he killed his wife and kids. His hut sounds freaky and scary.

Fi has strong feelings for Homer and Ellie can see that Homer has feelings for her to.

Lee and Ellie found reports and the Hermits stuff, behind a rock.

Lee and Ellie have awkward moment, which was confusing her.

1)I think the Hermit was sad and depressed about what happened with his family and went into Hell to get away from all the acussations. His hut is his perfect escape, hidden from everyone, a place where he can live in peace.
2)Fi likes Homer, but she is scared that she doesnt like him as much as he likes her.
3)They find newspaper articles, official documents and hermit's medal,as he was a war hero.
4)They kiss.
5)Courage is when you do something even tough you are afraid of doing it/ is a very important thing to have.
Friendship=the realationship you have with certain people, close to you, that you can trust./ Friendship is something special, that can never be replaced and will always be there.
Family is the group of people, not always related, that you feel the closest to and belong to/ Family is your most important group of people.
War-an action that should not happen.
Survival- is when you do anything possible to live, when you never give up what is important.
