Jan C (woeisme) | 119 comments Many months later, I finally finished last night.

Very enjoyable. I like a good adventure story now and again.

I would be reading about the further adventures of David and Renee.

Carol Neman | 2 comments Whoops, thanks Jan, you just reminded me that I owe John a book review...

John Stipa | 26 comments Carol, I remember you posting something in early August that you thought Renee was antagonistic - at least at first and (if I read between the lines) she grew on you into a more...collaborative person. Tell me I'm right because it was supposed to be part of her development as a character.

I wonder if other strong women in literature come off as "bitches" instead of just being what they are: strong, assertive individuals with ability to think for themselves.

It is not just in literature, it happens every day.

Ummm John, I'll get back to you sometime....my reading these days is pretty much limited to audiobooks. Any plans for an audiobook btw? I tried to get the Borders Bookstore to carry your book on the shelf so I could recommend it - didn't have success, but at least I got it in the library :-) I'm still recommending your book to Dan Brown fans and I'll try to open No Greater Sacrifice sometime in the not too distant future and continue with the story....

John Stipa | 26 comments Don't sweat it Dustin. That you even tried to get me into Borders is a fantastic show of respect. No plans for an audio book, but I would like to make my book available for ereaders other than Kindle. For what its worth, I'm hoping my work has appeal beyond Dan Brown fans. Thanks for everything you did to get me exposure here.

:-) yes, I believe it does. I'll recommend it to other readers besides just Dan Brown fans. I was very disappointed with the Lost Symbol. Keep us posted on future books too.

Jan C (woeisme) | 119 comments I guess I thought of it more in terms of Indiana Jones. Than Dan Brown.

You're probably right. I don't want to stereotype the book too much, especially since I haven't finished yet :-) It is different from Dan Brown's formula though.
