For May's month's theme or book, we are thinking to let everyone choose a book they have already read, and re-read it.

I love this idea because I always come across a book that I remember loving, but not feeling like I have time to read it right now. This will force me to get it done!!

So, nobody's posted on this so far this month. I am wondering if anyone will be able to re-read a book for may? I too find myself half way through this month and still flip-flopping between books for this Challenge, as well as hoping I have the time to do it. But I think in the end. I am planning to Re-Read, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There was soooo much anticipation that lead up to this last book, that when it was released, I was there at Midnight, fingers itching. And then plowed through it over the next day. No savoring or digesting, just devouring. And now I look back and feel like I should reconnect to it and wil probably see and remember it totally differently... Wish me luck! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7) by J.K. Rowling

Jodie | 36 comments That is totally the book I decided to read so that I could be prepared for the movie, but may have to rethink it-"daunting" does not make it sound like I will whip through it like the first time!

Jodie | 36 comments So I did decide on Harry Potter and read the 1st half, but I don't think I will be able to stop-it is so good and there are so many details I forgot. It is nice the second time around because I do not have the intense urge to read it as fast as I can. I can't wait for the movie!

I did not get my re-read done. Too many other things, but I have one picked out for the summer that I will hopefully get done sometime!

Well, I'm about 1/3 (250 pages) through this re-read. I have been trying to 'sip' it instead of guzzle, dabbling here and there. But really, if I thought it was 5 stars the first time I read this, this time it would be six or more! Really I mostly remember the climatic ending, how every moment of the 7 books led up to the end and the final moments with Snape and then Voldemort. There is soooo much intricate detail woven throughout this story and now, knowing the ending, and foreshadowing that is dropped here and there that I had not noticed before when I was busy racing through it.

I am captivated again by Harry Potter and his friends and loving it!

Did you see the sneak peek on the MTV movie awards last night? You should be able to find it on youtube. It really make me was to re-read it, but I think I will do the audio and start it later in the summer. Give me an good excuse to go walking more!!
