Paige Miller Oh, that's a cool idea.... Or... maybe send a nice card to a friend (without putting your name on it) and ask them to write a note and send it on to someone else.

Riley (booksarecool) Yeah, like the office card thing! You make a card with a happy face on it and you write Be Happy on the inside, maybe even do the hallmark card thing with the recorded message and give it to someone. Maybe just put it on someone's car!

For people with money:
Pay for people at a restaurant, and then have the waitress tell them to pay it forward.
Buy a meal for a homeless person.
Pay for somebody at a toll booth.
Give a lottery ticket to a stranger.

Or, provide a service people would normally charge for for free!

Riley (booksarecool) Donate to any charity. Play on freerice.com. There's tons of ways. :D

Veronica (v_a_b) Teach somebody something new (that they are interested in)

Riley (booksarecool) Make a heartfelt email and send it to everyone in your address book, telling them to pay it forward.

Go to the Humane Society and play with some pets. Volunteer. Invite a homeless person to dinner. Visit the elderly.

Veronica (v_a_b) I can't really invite a homeless person to dinner... homeless people don't live in places around here (aka, suburbs near schools)

Margaret | 13 comments hmm... here's a challenge (for me at least) be nice to that classmate that REALLY gets on your nerves. Say hi. ignore/look past their obnoxious behavior tics :). help them out with an assignment.

message 58: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) That's a challenge for me too Margaret!

Riley (booksarecool) That's okay Roni! You can always do something else!
