I hadn't heard about a movie, so this makes me happy!
It also says it about the movie on the back flap of dreamfever if you have the hardback.
What?? I never read the covers! How stupid of me to have missed such awesome news!
OK I pulled my copy and on the back inside flap it says "The Fever series has been optioned by Twentieth Century Fox/New Regency Productions." Thats all, but its still great news.
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted to know what the flap said. My bad.
Oops. Color me the clueless idiot and put me on ignore. LOLI was wondering however, do we have somewhere already with guesses on casting ideas?
Wow thanks for the article. And the Eric Etebari link as well. I looked at some of his other photos and I can definitely get behind him playing Barrons. Yum.
What do you think of Charlie Bewley as V'lane?
Not a clue about Eric acting, but he has the smoldering sexy look down pat. lol
Haven't seen him anything either. His looks are definitely what I picture though. Either him or a younger, slimmer Gerard Butler and since we can't make Gerard younger, Eric will work just fine!
Personally, I think there has got to be a better looking V'Lane out there. This guy is just meh. imho

I think he is too rugged looking which I love but I picture V'lane a little more "pretty", if that makes sense.

I don't know about the pretty. Have you seen the image Moning is using for V'lane? He looks a little biker-ish to me.

Mmmmm Jason Lewis, pretty and rugged. He's a strong lead. I wouldn't mind looking again just to be sure though.

The top picture is seriously V'Lane worthy. I agree with you Vale, I will love imagining these faces with my re-reading. They're pretty darn close to what I pictured, only better somehow!

I love Dakota Fanning but I don't think she is young enough for Dani and I think she is too big of a star.
Emma Watson actually isn't a bad cast. Might have to ponder that one a little more. Abigail, though, I don't think can have the grit Danni has.
I don't like Eric. He seems was too old. I still vote for Ian S (Damon) from vampire Diaries. I also think that Kriten Bell is too old for Mac. I think Jason is too old for V'alne too. I still think Chase Crawford would be a good V'lane. Farah Faith From Days and OLTL would be my Mac.
Eric Etebari is 40! Holy cow! He looks like he is about 30ish which is how I picture Barrons.
Yeah Sammy, I thought they were older as well. Barrons, I think, is supposed to look around 30ish, right? Kristen Bell has one of those faces that can look older or younger. I’ve seen so many from her just on Veronica Mars, let alone her movies. She is still a top pick for me anyway.
Now I do love Ian as well but he has a baby face, (never would have guessed he is 32 almost 33!). However, I bet we can find a spot for him in the cast somewhere! Those gorgeous baby blues need to be appreciated more. LOL

I don't think Ian is rugged enough for Barrons. I picture Barrons as a manly man. If Gerard Butler was younger, he would be my first choice!

I think that would work. Especially because I think the Dreamy Eyed Boy is going to be a bad guy.
That guy who kept popping up throughout the books...but his most impressionable was at Ryodans bar, working at the bar. His reflection changed and talked to her, which is causing much speculation. Oh and he has never had a name.
Hmmm, must ponder Darroc. He's supposed to be a bit smaller than Barrons/Eric right? I cant remember much of his description...Vale we may need 2 separate re-reads. Now & Later!

I agree! In my mind I picture Barrons as even older. I am 37 years old so I picture him being older than me even though he is probably way younger..haha...OMG I feel old now.
They never say how old he looks in the books do they?
I like Dakota Fanning as Dani. If they could make her part a little older in the movie. She is super cute and how I picture Dani. Emma Watson would work too.
As far as Mac goes I honestly am not really a fan of the choices that I have heard so far. But then again I cannot really think of anyone. I wonder what the Veronica Mars chick would look like as a brunette?
Whoever it is needs to look good as a brunette since she is only blonde in the very beginning.
