Sasori quietly, but still somewhat cerimonally, placed her Emerald on the alter. In a small flash of light the gem was gone.

"so how r u going to hone your own skills"

"Um..." Sasori didnt really have an answer, but... "will you practice with me?"

She grinned, "Thank you."

"np. so what kind of practice did u have in mind"

"Attack/Defence. The basics."

"ok then" he swung a fist at her

She growled, dogding the blow easily by ducking and backing up at the same time. She landed on her feet, her hand lightly touching the ground.

he kicked and followed up with av upward punch

She landed on her back, throwing dirt into the air, making it to dark to see. She tossed a solid punch that should have landed on his cheek.

he moved his head to the side and kneed her in the stomach

Her reply was to trip him, putting her foot on his neck, not hard, but...

he fliped his lower body and kicked her off followed up by a mule kick

Sasori was momentarily surpised but wasnt about to let that control her. A few of her attacks actually hit him.

he swung a back knuckle strike at her face

It hit. The blow sent her back into the wall. She groaned. "Ow..." she healed herself, massaging her jaw.

he waited for her to make a move

She knew seh was in for a beating. She studied him as she took her time getting up.

his expression was blank

She quickly feigned an attack, then got him hard in the gut.

he folded and grabed her leg then threw it in the air causing her to lose balance

Even though Sasori knew he wasnt even trying with her...that blow still hurt. Her leg snapped. She landed on it hard, wincing slightly as she tried to stand agian.

he kicked at her head

This time she didnt even try to get up.

"your thinking to much" he said as he sat beside her

She groaned. "Yeah?" She opened one eye. She cautiously sat up, healing herself tossing a mint into her mouth.

he noded "in fighting one of the most important things is reacting. thinking has its place but if it takes too long you'll get hurt"

"I think I figured that one out..."

"we'll work on reaction time ok" he stood up

"Gotcha." She got up hesitently, dodging a blow that hit the wall.

he took 2 leeps back then shot a fire ball at her "dodge for as long as u can"

((its wierd that they have been around each other for a long time and its the first time they have seriously worked on practices like this.))

Dodging she could do...and she got creative with it.

he started to shoot them faster

She finally had enough of it. An unpenatraple wall formed between them making the fireballs either sink into the solid mound of earth or reflect back at him. Sasori could hardly contain her excitment.

"good now try this" the fires whent from a deep red to a bright ourange as it got hotterthen he shot them into the mound

She gritted her teeth, but somehow managed to keep it from getting through.

he summend yellow flames and shot those

Those got through a little, but the holes became patched up quickly. Sasori's excitment about finally figuring out that she wasnt completely useless were slowly going down.

"ur still thinking to much" he said as he shot white flames toward the wall

She doubled her efforts on the wall, the floor where Volcan was getting unstable, attempting to mess up his balance, to make him lose consintration.

he jumped into the air and blasted the wall with white flames at point blank range

It did come through...and hit her pretty hard. She screamed - it hurt like h*ll.

Sasori was clushing her stomache, her teeth gritted in pain. She couldnt even manage an answer.

he pulled out a healing ointment and rubbed it on her arms and stomache

Sasori was shaking violently throughout this. The first thing she could manage was "What the h*ll...?"

"Mmm..." She struggled to her feet, leaning on him. "Ugh...really?"
