I can't take too much credit - I'm just updating one that someone previously sent me. I'd give credit, but I don't remember who originally created it.
Cool! I am glad that everyone wants to participate again :) I will start working on the new list around the 15th or so...
I'm in for the next one. I hope to do a lot better when I'm not reading a huge sci-fi series :)
I plan to participate in August! I missed this round because we moved, but I am all settled in and ready to go!
He there, Is it too late to grab a copy of that spreadsheet? I know it's late to be joining the game, but I keep a record of all the books I read so I should be able to catch up pretty quickly...

Okay I am planning to have the new list of shelves today!!
I am planning on making the new spread sheet, but it may take me a few days. I'm moving today and tomorrow. Please PM me your email or post it after the NEW set of shelves and I'll get it to you soon!
Working hard to get the shelves...so far newly added are 2010-read, 2010-books, books-read-in-2010, at-library, europe, and (this is a shelf), and gay. Hope to finish this by tomorrow!!
Fun times... Angela—I do want to reiterate that I'm in! I may be out of commission for a while (I'm about ready to pop any time now—I'm due the 10th), but I'll be back!

Tammy, you have perfect timing. We're just getting started again on August 1st. The shelves aren't up yet so just keep track of the books you finish starting the 1st. If you need a copy of the spread sheet either PM me or post your email address AFTER we get the new shelf list up and I'll send you one.
The shelves will be up by today! Work has been crazy for me, so when I get off of work I am going to finish it up. :)
so I think I'm in for August- the idea is to read a book that is listed on the most amount shelves?
So like if I would have chosen to read
- that's list on eleven shelves...except one shelf is "young adult" and another one is "ya" I'm not sure that should count as two...
and then Angela is going to get us a list of shelves?
so then you could do it two ways- you could pick a book first and then see how many shelves it matches or pick through the shelves and see which book is named most often?
Irene, I'm a little confused by your questions - you read books and then compare what shelves it hits the most shelves. Angela has done a great job of outlining the rules for the challenge. Look at message 23 on this thread to review. The challenge starting in August will have new shelves.

You count all the shelves you can for each book - just look at the first page of shelves. You should be putting books on your shelves as normal.
oh I thought it said earlier you can look in the first five pages of a shelf.
It used to be five pages, but then GR changed their system and now, there are 100 shelves on each page. As opposed to the 20 per page they used to display. So, first page it is.
