So Danny Strong, otherwise known as Doyle, Paris' boyfriend is Gerkin in the movie Sydney White (a spin off of Snow White) with Amanda Bynes. It is a cute movie.

Sydney White was adorable, wasn't it Jen? Sam Levine from freaks and geeks was in it too, wasn't he? My husband and I watched it a couple of months ago, while going through an Amanda Bynes phase. After watching "She's the Man," we decided that she's the greatest actress of her generation. We then forced ourselves to watch all 4 seasons of "What I Like About You." That got to be a bit of a chore.
Okay, I totally love Amanda Bynes (though not sure why), but I have to say that "She's the Man" was so absurdly done for me... I cringed! (If I could have deleted certain scenes, I think I could have enjoyed it.) "What a Girl Wants" was pretty adorable, however. Cute enough for me to have it in my movie collection (and to have watched it far too many times). I'll have to check out "Sydney White..." but if it doesn't show on cable it likely won't happen for a while.
rented this recently just for Doyle :). It's cute in a Revenge of the Nerds / A Cinderella Story kind of way. I recommend it.Thanks for pointing him out, Jen.
I also saw another GG character - Lucy - in 27 dresses which I rented at the same time. I think she's been pointed out already though. it was just a bit part.
This isn't about Doyle but about another Gilmore sighting. I caught Mia in "The Jane Austen Book Club". Not sure if if anyone else has already pointed this out.
I saw Mia in "The Jane Austen Book Club". I also saw Doyle in "Sydney White". I was so surprised to see him. It is really weird (for me at least) to watch every episode of a television show and then watch a movie with the same actors. Like I saw Rory in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that she was Lena not Rory.
