Well, this is my 5th full time. I had a long-term sub position at the high school which would make it my 6th... I don't really count that though. It doesn't count toward my Promises count either.

ok, so u have watched to promises movie bout 30 times, but every time u watch it though out the day its the same seens so idk if that can count as like 6 times a year

I haven't... but in AP world history, we're learning about cuneiform(Sumerian)! well, actually we're learning about villages, but Sumer and Mesopotamia are a part of it.

actually agriculture villages. &how they first started when people stopped migrating as often and could start farming. then job specialization occured too because of the surplus of food! and the domestication of animals occurred too. that's a sum up of it (:

Cartography is the study of maps.

Zimbabwe discontinued using the old Zimbabwe dollar, thankfully. And to answer your question, it costs approximately 1.5 cents to make a penny.

I thought it was illegal to rip or break American money in half? So how would they go about the half cent? Wait, they could make 2 at the same time which would even it out to 3 cents! But then that's just weird...

I think most, if not all of the tests I got back in Geo. and History of the world has been above 80%. Granted you are in the AP class :Þ

Right now, in Geo and History of the world, it's like climate and what affect the Earth's natural feature has on climate.

In ap it's pre-columbous civilizations... like the Olmec, Zapotec, ect. We have a test tomorrow though...

We had a test yesterday. Now it's about world population and human geography. Pretty simple stuff.

i beg to differ. haha then again history has always been my least favorite subject (no offence Mr.Habecker!). we're going to be learning about empires starting monday until sometime in january...

History has always been one of my favorite subjects. My least favorite subject is English, always has been. And empires is a very broad subject, empires have been in Europe and Asia for a while, so I'm not surprised it will take so long for it.

No and yes. One of my friends told me about it, but if I never heard of it from him today then no. And I have a question for Habecker, what is the difference between racism and ethnocentrism?

Ethnocentrism is more broad... i.e. racism is a form of ethnocentrism. Patriotism and nationalism are also forms of ethnocentrism. Ethnocentrism really deals with thinking any aspect of ones culture is superior to that of another culture. Race/Ethnicity is one aspect of culture.
