Title change wouldn't help. It's the fact that the story is along the same lines, but a little bit different. I really like your idea, don't get me wrong, but I feel like we would get confuzzled, and don't want that to happen.

This is crazy...technicaly most people want him to die right now. Sella just because he dies doesnt mean it has to get sappy or anything.
i honestly don't want him to die. like really really really REALLY don't want him to die. i agree w/ sella about the coma thing. that's a good idea. and another book that i read involved the same thing, w/ the coma i mean. and they woke up after like five years and was fine. of course, a few years later, it came back, but still!!btw, sorry i havent been on in a while, summerfest all weekend. like all day/night. the most fun thing in the world. l8r.
........but that rarely happens in real life. Imagine the money it would cost to keep ALex on life support! Besides, its like the book memoirs of a teenage amnesiac, therefore very close to copying and very average! Urghhhhhh
i've never read it. but what if he doesn't need life support and just a feeding tube? that happens in reality.
My cousin went into a coma after she had fallen off her horse and she had to b on life support because her brain was failing so her lung weren't working themselves and then whe nshe woke she didnt remember anything. She still doesnt today.
well, there's this one case where the patient could breathe on their own, but just needed a feeding tube, for obvious reasons. after four years, they woke up.
Do you personally mind if he dies? a lot of people want him to at this pont like Kenzie said she didnt mind and Clare and I so...
i honestly don't want him to die. like where will the story go if he dies? and it's so soon in the story. i wouldn't mind it so much if it was near the end, like climax and stuff, but not now!!
well, how about he doesn't die now? how about he does die later?
ok I'll agree with that. how about he gets released and then like later on his immune system is down due to the crash or soemthing and then he finally dies peacfully
yeah, I was thinking something like that. I think I mentioned it on the story. I said that maybe he gets better from the car crash, but then later on he gets some disease(like pnemonia) and dies.
sounds good :) now everyone wins *happy dance*

He's got to die later. He hasn't even gotten out of the hospital yet...As far as I know...

I don't think that was exactly what she was asking. Kenzie, you didn't answer why, you answered how.
oh why? We promise not to make the story sappy but it really does add a bit of despair to the whole story.
