Sadly, you are correct. The Beatles are affecting my brain, I should have written a more difficult one.

Very common. Not so misleading :( Seriously, I should be concentrating more. It's the White Album! It's turns my mind around!

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) AHAHAHA! Easy Peasy!

Okay: A young couple get engaged, but run into many kinds of trouble on the way to visit the professor that helped get them together. The trouble leads to lost innocence.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) This is a very general plot description of this movie... it's evil and devious

Sorcerer?"

Sorcerer is a very under rated movie. I is based on a French film called Wages of Fear also very good. If anyone has not seen either of these they are well worth a look.

Agreed. Sorcerer is an excellent film. Have not seen Wages but was aware of the connection.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) *sigh*... will I need to give hints... maybe lengthen the description?

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) A young couple get engaged, but run into many kinds of trouble on the way to visit the professor that helped get them together. They find a nearby residence having a unusual party of sorts to get assistance. They are reunited with their professor, but loose their innocence.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) I've fleshed out the description....

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 196 comments Once again I've seen that film but I forget the name...

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) Trust me, if you've seen this film, you can't forget the name... once you hear the answer you will kick yourself

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) It's very.... very... I can't even think of an appropriate descriptive term without giving it away...

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) "It's not easy having a good time! Even smiling makes my face ache!"

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) "I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey..."

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) could you forget that title?

message 1671: by Mark (new)

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 196 comments No... there was another one in mind too though...which I really can't remember.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) I thought it was a good one...

Yeah I knew that it's a "cult classic" and all! It sounds interesting. *nasty grin* I love cult classics..........LOL has anybody seen Plan 9 from Outer Space?

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) Yes! Another classic! ... And Rocky Horror is fantastic- but don't just watch the movie, part of the whole experience is seeing it in the theater with the audience participation. Especially if your are at one that auctions off the "virgins"... teehee~!

*another nasty grin* Yes, certainly, it's Ed Wood's greatest film, in my opinion. All the others were...........ummm, not good. But Plan 9..........dude, PLAN 9 ROCKED! Oh, and I'll think about it.........

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) | 797 comments Don't forget you have to dress as one of the characters in the show ;o)

Well just to keep it going, I am off to see Rock of Ages tonight, they say it is Spinal tap meets The Rocky Horror! I reckon that to will end up being a classic!

Yes, it is your turn. And the film.........any hint?

message 1683: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman | 8320 comments A little early for more of a clue, I think. I'll give others a chance to guess based on the description.

Michael (mikedecshop) | 1479 comments The Vanishing?

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) Jennifer 8?

Probably not it- cause I think I always confuse that movie with a different one...

message 1686: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman | 8320 comments Michael wrote: "The Vanishing?"

You are correct, sir! (the original and brilliant Dutch film, not the shitty American remake)

message 1687: by Michael (new)

Michael (mikedecshop) | 1479 comments I believe I may have done this one previously but the movie haunts me.I will kind of describe a scene but I think it defines the film.

A young girl goes out to buy flour at her mother's bidding. She returns much too quickly banging on the door demanding to be let in screaming that a beast is coming for her. The scene ends with blood coming under the door.
