On 09 February 2000, the American military base of Yongson releases toxic chemicals in the drain to the Han River under the direct order of an arrogant coroner. Six years later, a mutant squid monster leaves the water and attacks people on the side of the river. The teenager Park Hyun-seo is carried by the creature and vanishes in the river. During the night, the girl's father receives a phone call from Hyun-seo telling that she is alive in a big sewage nearby the river.

If I am right then my plot is as follows:A young boy stays with his aunt and uncle, and befriends his cousin who's the same age. But his cousin begins showing increasing signs of psychotic behavior.

I've seen that movie, Bandit - it features a well in the basement, yes? I cannot remember the name of it right now though.

Yeh Shanks is right and yeh a bit obscure :P Only reason I've heard of it is because it was William Castle's last movie (I think). Never seen it though, is it any good Shawn?

It was Castle's last movie. Probably too odd to get a remake, though who knows
It's interesting. Not really horror so much as dark fantasy, but there's a decidedly morbid tone to the whole thing. It's more like a fable or fairy tale that showcases the skills of the mimes involved. It could easily be remade into something much creepier, though!Bandit's turn...
