After burning down a museum a boy and girl have to go through different dimensions to find proof that will help the girl prove that she did not kill her father upon returning home from said museum. a man and his girlfriend end up in Spainish town after a boating accident. Soon they are pursued by half human creatures.
A prosecutor that is retiring is writing a book about a horrible crime he investigates. After he finds nothing but dead ends he obsesses himself with the crime and keeps going for years, it's not after his retirement that he finds the truth.
A family decides to purchase and run a little bed and breakfast. Sadly though they do not get many customers and what they do get end up either dying or killing themselves in both very horrifying and darkly comedic ways. Their are two versions of the film, and both are foreign. The first is a darkly comedic horror film and the remake is very similar with musical numbers and much more surreal set pieces.
For full points you only have to guess one of the films but if you name both films you will gain my undying respect for a fellow film lover.

lol @ MichaelGator, I actually like SNL, I've been watching it for so many years, it's like a saturday night tradition for me, plus I like the current cast
