Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments An American Werewolf in London? But I thought the main character's friend was killed by the wolf at the beginning of the movie.

Plot: A man with a long schlong is lured into the seedy porn industry of the '70s.

message 52: by Scott (new)

Scott Yeah, the werewolf killed him while they were walking into town.

Jerrod where the hell did you see that at? I looked it up because i'd never heard of it. It's like the Muppets on crack!

King D, is it The Tingler?

This is about a kid who has a friend who has exotic pets that get loose and somehow get really big, and start to terrorize and kill people. They all have to get to the mall if they want to live!
The leading man has a sister that's a friend.

Long time ago, back in the day. It's one of my favorite Peter Jackson flicks. Not for the children, but super fun movie.

message 64: by Lorenzo (new)

Lorenzo Escobar Meet the feebles?

a pagan god becomes unleashed and wreaks hell on a small town. It's based on a short story

message 65: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 1684 comments This movie is about a man looking for his family. And as he's looking he goes everywhere, and does everything. He has a girl friend that he calls often, and one of her friends tells the man that she dumped him. I think it's funny. "You wanna fight? Why don't you stick your head up my ass and fight for air!"

CLUE: he used to be on Saturday Night Live.

message 66: by Lorenzo (new)

Lorenzo Escobar Joe Dirt lol, it's stupid movie but it's pretty funny, especially if you're from the midwest and you've actually seen people just like main character.

A brilliant doctor discovers he can resurrect the dead, but they are never fresh enough.

message 67: by Lorenzo (new)

Lorenzo Escobar right on the money.

A man finds out that his caracature is trying to take over his body while commiting murders.

Nobody knows.

Six Yankee tourists are lured into the small southern town of Pleasant Valley by the redneck residents and forced to participate in sadistic, gory games leading to their deaths. Two escape, and return for revenge only to find the town has disappeared.

message 74: by Joni (new)

Joni (joniblues) All I can think of is an episode of South Park but they were not being evictied

message 75: by Shawn (new)

Shawn | 1168 comments It's a movie from the mid-late 1970's. I'll give an alternate plot for another movie in case it stymies.

Plot: A husband and wife lose their daughter in an accident. Later, as the husband works in Venice, and killings are occuring, he begins to think he is catching glimpses of his daughter's raincoated figure around the city

message 76: by Branden (new)

Branden (cinefessions) | 235 comments Man alive, I thought I knew movies pretty well, but you're stumping me. Another one that sounds great, but I'm lost. Hopefully someone chimes in with the right answer.

message 77: by Bobbie (new)

Bobbie Don't Look Now?

message 78: by Shawn (new)

Shawn | 1168 comments Correct! (the senior murderers was HOMEBODIES)

Your turn!

message 79: by Bobbie (new)

Bobbie Inspired by a 1961 true newspaper account, the film involved nature gone awry

message 80: by Branden (new)

Branden (cinefessions) | 235 comments I added DON'T LOOK NOW to my NF queue, but it looks like HOMEBODIES isn't on there. Damn. :-\

message 81: by Shawn (new)

Shawn | 1168 comments yeah, it'a been MIA since I saw it on HBO back in 1981 or so. Maybe someday someone will release it on DVD.

message 82: by Joni (new)

Joni (joniblues) The Birds?

message 83: by Bobbie (new)

Bobbie Correct Joni

message 84: by Joni (new)

Sunshine? I just watched that two night ago.

message 89: by Joni (new)

Joni (joniblues) Correct. For some reason I really liked that movie. It could be I droll over Cillian Murphy. He's so pretty to me- not hot... pretty lol

message 90: by Scott (new)

Scott I loved Sunshine. Cillian Murphy is great.

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Sunshine?

During the Mexican-American war, a captain is sent to an outpost in the Sierra Nevada mountains and meets up with some cannibals.

*OMG. I thought I was the only person in the world who had seen Homebodies. I saw it on HBO back in the day. About the only thing I can remember is a person being encased in hardening cement with the top of his head sticking out, and someone slams it with a hammer or ax.

message 92: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments You turkeys beat me to it. I hated Sunshine.

I remember being horrified that after they encased the guy, one of the old people points out that the tip if his shoe is sticking out of the concrete, and another blithely chops it off with an axe! Aieeee!

message 94: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Shoe. I thought it was a head.

I keep thinking that Ruth Gordon played in that movie, but I guess it's a lady who reminded me of her.

Did you ever see that movie that was shown on HBO called Right of Way with Bette Davis and Jimmy Stewart? Melinda Dillon (love her) played their estranged daughter who tried to stop the couple from killing themselves because one of them had cancer? It was really good.

Are you my long lost brother? I think we had a similar childhood.

"During the Mexican-American war, a captain is sent to an outpost in the Sierra Nevada mountains and meets up with some cannibals."

This is 'Ravenous'?
