"I-I like it..." he said he sat up again and started having his coughing spasm for a longer time.. He leaned forward again on the bed.. He was shaking.. The coughing never seemed to end.. finally after 50 minutes he stopped stayed in that position and was shaking.
Cassandra hugged him. "You get better."
James leaned his head under her head and closed his eyes.. "I-I want to be there when you give birth.." he said weakly... "I-I'm scared for you."
"I'll be fine," She whispered. "I just want you to get better. Okay?"
He nodded weakly.. "I-I'll try.." he wheezed. He closed his eyes and started drifting to sleep when he heard Jordan coming in the room. "How are you doing guys?" she asked Cassandra.
Cassandra nodded, "I feel okay...." She glanced down at James.
James was drifting into sleep. "N-not so good." he said quietly.." Jordan walked over and picked up the thermometer. She put it in Jame's mouth.. "It seems his temperature just went up ten degrees. 125.." she said worriedly.
Cassandra's eyes widened in shock. "That high?! I hope he doesn't get brain damage!"
James was shaking.. He felt really hot.. "We are going to have to keep him out of cloths for now, and keep him out of the covers when he goes to sleep. It may be odd seeing him like that.. but thats how my family works when we help each other.." she said as she started undressing James.. "Dear you are going to have to work with me here ok?" she asked as she started taking off his pants.
He nodded weakly and started trying to take off his shirt. He was sweating alot.. He looked away and coughed several times.. His eyes were beet red.
"I-I'm scared.." he whined.
"You'll be fine..." Cassandra said softly, biting her lip in worry.
His heart was pounding fast. He could hear it in his own ears. Sweat dripped down his face more than ever.. he was paler than ever.. "W-what if I-I die?" he asked her in a wheeze.
"You wont." Cassandra said firmly, hugging him. "I won't let you."
He laid his head on her shoulder.. "T-too hot.." he said as he leaned his head on her shoulder. "t-too hot."
Cassandra looked at him in concern. She looked at Jordan. "What can we do to lower his temperature?"
"The only way I know right now is keeping all his cloths off turning the air conditioning cooler, and keeping him hidrated..." she said while dampening the cloth with cold water and placing it on his head.
"Hm..." She sighed.
James started shaking he slowly sat up and laid down on the pillow panting. Even that was hard for him to do.. He started crying he hated how hot he was.
Cassandra asked, "Do you have a fan?"
"Yeah.. one sec.." she said as she raced to the switch and turned it on.. She adjusted it to its fastest speed. "I-I'm too hot.." he panted.. Sweat rolled down his face.
Cassandra sighed. "You'll be fine..."
James laid there panting. Jordan walked up to Cassandra and felt her forehead.. "your feeling better arent you?" she asked as she placed her hand on Cassandra's womb.. "You could be due soon.." she said. "It's been two months."
"Oh...." Her eyes were wide.
"yes so you are going to have to go down stares now.." she said...James didn't want her to go.. "N-no please I-I want you to stay.." he cried.
Cassandra looked at James and kissed his forehead. "I have to go...." She said, standing up.
He reached his arms out for her as she was leaving.. "P-PLEASE Do-don't go.."he said weakly. He was crying hard.
Cassandra bit her lip and looked at Jordan, "Can he come down also?"
"I-I suppose, but it might not be the best thing for him." she walked over to his bed. "Sweetie your going to come down and watch your sister give birth to a few children ok?" she asked.James looked at her weakly and nodded. He sat up slowly and started to make his way weakly down the stares.
Cassandra followed James.
((You still here?))They reached the room.
"When I think about it, i'm suprised you didn't hate me when you first arrived here" Drake said
"By what I heard your parents treated you unfairly and made you work for some really dispicable people. Most people would hate anyone that owns another person" he told her
((sorry had to get off...))James was scared.. It was very hard to walk. He stumbled and almost fell..
((It's okay))Cassandra caught him. "Careful..."
Nathan came over and picked up James and carried him to the room.
James looked back at her.. He was still very hot and sweaty.. "I-I'm scared for you Cassandra.." he said weakly.
Cassandra bit her lip and sat down on the bed. "I-I'll be fine." Although you could tell she was scared also.
Jordan quickly went to her side. "Dear your going to have to get in the bathing pool, it helps.." she said while helping her up and placing her gently in the cool water.
Cassandra leaned back as comfortably as she could and looked at Jordon nervously. She looked down and bit her lip.
Jordan sat there messaging her shoulders.."Your just going to have a couple today.. then tomorrow your water will break, and you will be in labor for a while.. you can't really do anything then.." she said softly. James sat there tears falling down his face. He grabbed weakly for her hand.
Cassandra slowly nodded, then squeezed James's hand.
"I-I'm scared..." he said while sitting there.. "I-I don't want you to die.." he wimpered.
"I'm not going to... die..." She whispered.
She kept messaging her shoulders.. just tell me when you feel like one is coming dear ok?" she asked sweetly.
She nodded. "Okay."
"Is there any ready to come out yet dear?" she asked in a kind assuring voice as she stopped messaging.. The warm water is supposed to help them come out faster." she said while wiping the sweat off of her head.
"I-um.... I-um.... I think so..." She said nervously.
"It's ok.. just relax... do you feel hard kicking?" she asked as she smoothed the hair out of her face.
She nodded then whimpered.
"ok JOSHUA!! YOU NEED TO BE DOWN HERE FOR THIS!!" she shouted as she combed Cassandra's hair back and put it up in a bun... "Everything's going to be fine.. It may be hard cause some of them might not come out all the way, but that's why I'm here.." she said as she kissed her forehead.
"Now dear, your going to have to push for me really hard.." she said as she pushed her legs up and spread them. "It may hurt a lot but you can do it.. Ready? 1, 2, 3, PUSH" she said while reaching her hands down in the water.
Joshua rushed into the room.Cassandra pushed and cried out in pain then swore violently. It did hurt.
