James started panicking. He looked around but stayed firmly with his sick sister. He was shaking in fear. "I-I'm not leaving her.." he shouted at his master.

His master frowned. "No. You are leaving. You are lucky I even let you come. Get up."
"P-please no.. I-I can't she's very ill.. PLEASE!" he begged.. He stayed seated.

James yelled in pain and weakly stood up.. "I-I promised my sister that I-I wouldn't leave her..." he stammered in pain.
His master rolled his eyes. "I. DON'T. CARE." He shoved him towards the door.
He looked back at his ailing sister and stopped firmly.. "I-I don't care how much you beat me.. I'm not going without my sister..." he said weakly.
His master frowned. "I'll tell you what. I'll get her as a slave also, but until she is better, you have to do both her, and your chores, AND take care of her."
He looked at him. "Ye-Yes sir.." he said solemnly.. He looked down.
"Go get her, then come." He walked out to go pay for his new slave.
He picked her up gently and walked back to his master. "wh-what happens if I don't do all of her chores and mine correctly?" he asked weakly.
"We kick her out and you never see her again."
He stopped... "P-Please beat me and don't kick her out.. Sh-she's dieing..." he begged as he looked down at his sister's pale face.
"We'll see." He shoved him out the door.
He almost fell but caught his balance.. The heat was too much for him. He stopped but still held his sister.. "P-please its too much..." he stopped again.
"You want your sister? You do as I say. NOW MOVE."
Tears slowly streamed down his face at those words.. "Pl-please beat me instead of s-saying that..." he begged as he slowly began the long journey back to their house.
"We'll see. I may change my mind. We'll see. Now speed up. You're going slow."
He walked a little faster. The wait of his sister was getting strenuous.. He had no shoes and its feet were blistering up. He groaned in pain each step of the way. Finally hours later he saw their house and made it to the door.
His master walked inside. "I'll expect you to serve dinner tonight for my guests." He said before walking away.
"B-but I don't know how to cook.." he said finding a place to lay her down...
His master hadn't heard him.Cassandra was burning up. Her temperature had risen even higher.
James felt Cassandra's forehead.. "C-casasandra your not getting any better.." he said in a scared voice. "Your with me and my master now.." he said while trying to cool her off.
Cassandra slowly started to wake up. She licked her dry, cracked lips.
He ran and got her some water.. Tears fell down his face as he gently poured a little bit of water in her mouth.. "Please get better.." he begged.
Cassandra looked at him through the haze of the fever. "D-don't cry..." She said weakly.
"I-I can't help it your the only thing I have left and you know that I Have left..." he said while taking the cloth and damping her head with it.
Cassandra closed her eyes again. "I'll be fine..."
"N-no you won't.. Your really hot..." he said sadly. He sat next to her and grabbed her hand.
Cassandra smiled a little and gave his hand a slight squeeze.
He looked at her and tried to smile.. Her laying there reminded him of his mother dieing and he started to cry again.((hey i gtg be on monday))

"I won't." Cassandra whispered. ((I know how we can deal with the problem. Their dad poisoned their mom, so she got symptoms of being ill. But nobody wanted to tell James that their mom was poisoned, so he assumed she had caught something and got sick. Does that work? What do you think?))

She reached up with a shaky hand to move some hair out of her eyes. The butler entered the room and looked at James. "You need to start working now. Come on. Master's orders."
