=) There's a lot to try and remember. Maybe I will too, but I'll probably get sidetracked. Then, after reading the new one I'll feel the need to go back and refresh everything. At least that's what happened with Briggs.

As for favorite book it would be a tie between Dead the the World (have always been an Eric fan), and All Together Dead, I liked watching Sookie in the aftermath of the big event.

That's my favorite too. I think I actually squealed a few times during the book since I couldn't wrap my head around Eric acting like that at first. (And no, I'm normally not that girly so it was a big deal).
I love Eric, but I liked Quinn too. I felt kind of bad for him.

I think my favorite is Dead to the World also. Eric just sounds so hot! Pam is a very close second she has such attitude.

In the latest book Sookie brought that up herself thinking about it. I got the impression that while she considered it she ruled it out.

I hate it when that happens. I finished reading it in one night, then took it back to the library and gave it to my friend that works there. So she is getting it earlier by still reading on the time I still have. She plans to pass it on to another friend we have that works there too. We did this with Silver Bourne. It is sort of funny when you think of it as they could just move themselves to the front of the line for the book but they try not to do that often.
I caved and bought
.
It was hard for me to get back into Sookie's world since I seem to have left it for too long, but I don't think I could reread them all at the moment. Once I got interested I enjoyed the story, but I feel like there was no suspense. It seemed like a lot of fake build up. Don't get me wrong, I loved reading the story and I wish I had another book to go right into, but it wasn't her best.
***Spoiler***
I think it's about time Sookie thought that turning was a possibility. I'm not sure if I think it's a good idea, but if I were Sookie I would have had this debate a lot sooner seeing the company she keeps. It's not as if she necessarily has to decide, but she should have considered all the possibilities.
Once again Pam is great. I love the note Eric leave Sookie on the coffee pot and I'm even starting to grow fond of Claude. I'm curious about what's going to happen to Bill. I also feel like I should be playing Where's Elvis instead of Where's Waldo.
Also, am I missing something because I thought Godrick was Erics maker? Or is that something that I'm confusing with the TV show? I feel the need to go back and research.

In one of my other groups someone brought up the fact that Sookie could "feel" Eric's father and brother and then realized that she couldn't "feel" Eric's children like Pam. I realized that was right. I wonder why????
I wondered about that. Maybe he's able to block it from her some way? But he can't block the connection to those higher than him?

I read an interview that Harris did & she said that Sookie will never become a vamp. I think you can find that interview on her website. Another interesting thing she said was that she had no idea when this series will end.

Interesting that she doesn't know when the series will end. I wonder if when she started writing she had an end in mind, but with the popularity she has adjusted her thinking.
Harris can drag anything out as long as she wants. It seems like an ability of hers. Vamp Sookie just seems odd so I'm glad that she has said that.

My favorites in order (at least for the first 3) are Living Dead in Dallas, Club Dead, then Dead Until Dark.
My favorite character is Bubba / Elvis!! No, really I like everyone...but if you're talking True Blood then it's definately JASON!

I have to say I am really not looking forward to book 10, I am not sure I want to buy it because 1. the description sounds so lame and 2. I hated hated hated what happened to Sookie in book 9. She is so jaded now, I can't even relate to her anymore, which was the nice thing about her at first.
Not to mention, Sookie in True Blood HBO series really screwed with my mind!
So, for now, her books stay at 4 to 5 stars for me and I'm not touching book 10 unless book 11 picks up.
On a side note: Eric is absolutely luscious, and for once the casting director of a TV show did an awesome job finding the perfect Eric of my dreams in the "real life" show.

I agree with what Heather said: stop watching the show and enjoy the books on their own first. :)

but I think I will read the books again this winter when the show is not on. Its sort of my sunday ritual to watch the show!
I do it too, Darcy. Sometimes there's a moment when I just think how awesome a scene would have been if it were written into the book as well. I had a problem with a lot of the drifting during season 2. This season they're pulling further away and it doesn't seem as hard to stop growling every time something is different.

SPOILERS!!
I personally love that Lafayette is still alive. I'm loving the whole Sam and his family line too. I'm also kinda glad that everything isn't just focused on Sookie...that the other characters have developed their own story lines also. I do not like Tara though...she can just go and I will be happy!
Well, only if someone hasn't finished book 1 and started book 2. Just click edit and write it about your second paragraph. Lafayette's the only issue that someone might huff about. The rest aren't really spoilers.
haha. it's okay. I posted Spoiler at the top of True Blood since every thing we say in there is a spoiler. The groups do tend to merge at times.

My favourite read was Dead to the World as I am a huge Eric fan. I am really rooting for him to end up with Sookie.... but I don't think that is going to happen :(
