They both have equal rights in liking her. And yeah Jem hasn't shown interest in girls cause everyone knows that he's dying.

I would take it as he was showing interest for the girl. But I guess that might not be enough for others.

That's like guilting me into liking him just because he's destined to die, soon. Which is sad, I'm not denying that, and Jem doesn't deserve it either, but he's just not as important to me as Will.
Actually, Will saw the whole thing. In fact, it said his face was upturned and his "gloved hands were in fists" as Jem returned back to him at the bottom of the steps. To me, kinda seems like he saw the whole thing go down. And knew the intentions. If you don't believe me, go back and reread page 391.
Well then, Will had suspicions where as Jem had absolutely none about the possibility of Will and Tessa. I'm not blaming Jem though, I'm just sick of waiting and I really wanna know what happens.

i dont think will was jealous of jem as in he thought or suspected jem had feelings for tessa and was jealous. That was pretty evident by how taken aback he was when tessa told him she was engaged to jem. I think he was more envious because he couldnt allow himself to show any kindness or feelings whatsoever to tessa and he wanted to be able to do something as simple as kiss her hand or say a proper goodbye and he was just envious that jem vould be kind to her and will couldnt. And yes i think will only saw Jems actions of the whole mizpah thing as his normal niceness and kindness etc, not anything being portrayed as feelings. so, i think they were parabatais that were both completely oblivious to each others feelings towards tessa, so its really quite funny.....and frustrating of course....if you think about it

Team Jem! He's so sweet and wise, and plays the violin! Such a gentleman! Also, I love his nickname, reminds me of Jem from "To Kill A Mockingbird", who I also happen to love.
No, Will actually admits that he was intruiged by Tessa from the moment she pummeled him with the jar. Besides, Will decided not to fight for Tessa because he knew that he couldn't do that to Jem. So, I think Will is just as good as Jem....(And in my very own opinion, better)

No, but it does evolve more of an emotional depth that creates perspective among two or more people. It also involves similar story in which Will could relate to more so than Jem could. Will shares an identical passion on certain topics whereas Jem does not, which connects him to Tessa in ways it could not with Jem.

Like I pointed out before I do agree with Will knowing Tessa more and having more in common. However have you ever heard of opposites attract? It is true for a lot of people. A perfect character example I have of this would be SPOILER FOR The Hunger Games trilogy (view spoiler)
No, Peeta overruled Gale because Gale lacked compassion. Katniss had some, too and Peeta's passion for her amplified that feeling and helped to change her. Only in certain circumstances do opposites attract. If Gale had ended up with Katniss, there would have been a lot of fighting since they are both undeniably stubborn and would butt heads on literally every account. Anyway, back to the main topic, I am not saying how Jem and Tessa are a complete negative and positive charge, I'm simply saying that Will can reach more of an understandment with her because he has faced similar challenges. That's the same with Peeta. Similar incidents bring two people closer together, along with it likes and dislikes. Tessa and Will just happened to have much more likes in common.

I'm confused as to whether or not you're agreeing with me lol. You said no first and then you explained why my example was right. Anyways it's a matter of preference. Most people in my life, myself included are attracted to their opposites.

Fans have their opinions and they want everyone to know about that. Shipping and divided fanbases are very common nowadays. We always have a section among the fans that gets favored and the other meets with disappointment.

Yup, Will is da bomb. And no, I wasn't calling you non-virtual I was implying that I only communicated with the people who have actually read this series virtually.
Im team jem! Im just sick of reading expected endings. The book could be all types of awesome but the ending is the same in almost all the books i read. Im sick of tall, dark, and brooding suprise me thats what i want when i read a book. Thats why im team jem it would really be unexpected!

Will truly needs love. I think he should let everyone know about the fake curse in Clockwork Princess. They need to see the good in him. Actually, Will has no bad side. All those times he pretended to be out drinking or whatever, we know he did none of those things. I can't imagine what a lonely life he has lead.
But Jem deserves a happy ending as much as Will does. I do hope they find a cure for him soon enough.
