You're just jealous because you didn't fall in love with Jem first. And you are not even done with both books, so you are not allowed to judge.

I'm reading Clockwork Prince as soon as I finish Crossed. And no, I am not jealous. Will is cooler.

It's not that I dislike Will, I just think Jem is better. It's a matter of opinion.

Jem is definitely too perfect! Which I LOVE! Will is okay but just doesn't make me swoon or get me all hot and bothered. He just bothers me. He can be funny but he is no where near the greatness of JEM!

Same here, but I don't neccescarily hate Will. Darn these books for being so well written (I still am completely in love with Jem)!!!
Jem is great because he's cute and funny and in my opinion, not too perfect at all. That's what I love about Clare's characters, all of them have flaws. It's not only Jem's sickness that makes him a flawed character, he has other traits. For example, he is extremely believable and this has led him to trusting the wrong people before (in Clockwork Angel, near the end).
I know a lot of people are worried that Tessa can't end up with Will because then there will be no Jace, but technically couldn't Jace be related to Will through Cecily Herondale? I'm team Will all the way. And even if Jace isn't the great great whatever of Cecily, Tessa is unique and there is no guarantee that she's barren. Will and Tessa have true feelings for each other. If she stays with Jem all she's doing is being untrue to herself, Jem, and Will.

Jace doesn't have to be related to Will himself, he might have cousins/uncles out there. He's possibly not the last living Herondale.

With two series that are connected, it wouldn't make a lot of sense or make very good writing for Jace to be related to a random Herondale of no importance to the story. You know?
Cassie's FAQ page even says "I started drawing family trees, connecting the characters in one series to the characters in the next." And she's said that ID features descendents from Clary, Jace and the Lightwoods.
So I think Jace will be related to Will; or maybe we meet a new male Herondale in CP2. I don't know, lol. My guess is still Will though, just because it makes the most sense with two connected series. I suppose Cecily could always have a child and keep her Herondale name, and pass the name down that way.
It's mentioned in TMI the Herondales ran the London Institute. I think that's either going to be Cecily's family or Will's. I'm starting to have a feeling Cecily is working for Mortmain so her chances are fading for me. It's too ironic she shows up after both of Mortmain's spies are gone: Jessie and Nate.
I am a WEMMER! It's not about who gets the girl, because i think Will should get Tessa. For me, it's about who is happy.

I know right! It makes me sooo mad... I only like that quote because Cassie was trying to make a point, and she made it well: There is no "bad boy" or "good boy" between Will and Jem. They are both flawed characters, and they are amazing parabatai because of it. :)

I agree that Will and Jace has to be related. The 'Angel-mark' on Jace's shoulder has to come from someone back in time. I think it is more likely to bee Will than Cecily o.O

Ok now I'm not sure anymore if i love jem or will. The reason jem because he is getting married to Tessa but for will because tessa does not love him.

I personally think Tessa's heart is split in two. She loves both of them for different reasons and that causes her deep emotional pain to hurt Will that way because she really does love him, too. Jem has an advantage because they are engaged and breaking an engagement in their time period does much more damage than ours. I think Will is a good guy, but he can't outshine Jem, in my opinion.

I'm kind of a person of extremes and has to take a side because I am so opinionated. I picked Jem early on and plan on sticking with him. I seriously love Jem. I always have and always will. He already has the upper hand because he proposed first, but he is slowly dying because of his drug... JEM BETTER NOT DIE!!!
TEAM WILL ALL THE WAY!Sadly, I do think Jem is going to die in Clockwork Princess. If you've read both series you've probably noticed that most of the surnames that appear in The Infernal Devices reappeare in The Mortal Instruments. Like Herondale, Lightwood, Fairchild etc. Unfortunately I haven't found Carstairs in The Mortal Instruments series YET.
