I am wondering who they will choose to direct the new scenes though. Im rooting for Chris Weitz! Seeing the excellent job he did with the Volturi fight scene in new Moon I think he'd do a good job with the Newborn Army. However, I have to admit that I was super excited to see what David was gonna bring to the films. I was looking forward to his "dark" edge! Waa!

I too hope it won't mess w/ the opening date in June!"
LOL...Drives you nuts? Why? I hardly read his column but my co-worker loves perez like we love Twilight, and he was scrolling through Perez's sight when I saw a picture of Eclipse! It was hilarious, you shouldve seen it....I jumped outta my seat like my chair was on fire and forced him to go back to the pic!

you see they only had issues with Edward and Bella's scenes....of course our dear Jacob did an excellent job!

HUH---its probably Bella that had the issues, as MONICA would say (or is it Monique??)

"Such dramaz! We blame Kristen Stewart. We're sure whatever the problem was with that meadow scene had to do with her rabbit teeth or her stoopid weave."

HitFix has learned that Slade, who is currently overseeing the film’s score in London, would be headed to Vancouver himself to film what are obvstentively pick up shots, not reshot scenes. Pick up shots are cut into already completed scenes and can be necessary because of anything from bad lighting, a faulty print or a missing expression or line that was determined in editing. Reshoots insinuate a completely new scene being inserted into a picture.
Additionally, a Summit spokesperson told HitFix that the shoot has been planned for months, the picture is not in “trouble” and, in fact, the studio thinks it may be the best of the three so far. Considering, this writer has heard praise for “Eclipse’s” script, that’s easy to believe. The spokesperson also noted that reshoot timing is three days or less, is not a lot of material and furthermore, they do not involve the meadow scene or any action scenes whatsoever.

"Sources are revealing that Summit Entertainment is ushering back the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse to reshoot some pivotal scenes for the movie. Insiders claim that several fight sequences need to be polished and a Bella/Edward meadow scene needs some work.
The source claims that the studio wanted a full week to fix their mistakes, but due to scheduling conflicts with R-Patz, they can only manage 3 days. It is said that the filming will begin relatively soon, to keep the June 30th release date a definite.
The news that the film would be reshooting has also brought to light the friction between the studio and Eclipse director, David Slade. Sources say that due to David's creative differences with Summit, he is not being asked back to reshoot these scenes.
So then who will?
Possibilities include the directors of the last two Twilight films Chris Weitz and Catherine Hardwicke. Catherine is reportedly already in Vancouver for another project and if asked, she may push that project back to work on Eclipse.

But at least this might mean getting a peek at R-Patz again! We've really been missing him since he went across the pond!"
