There's something about Samuel that calls to me, although I am firmly Team Adam. I'm glad that he is in Mercy's life as her friend.

Agreed. I love Samuel! Just not for Mercy. n_n I like how they're packmates. They have a lot of funny and cute moments. :P

Moon Called was my first dip in the Patricia Briggs pool and it was good! Mercy is a really great character. You just can't help but root for her. Adam is meh as a romantic interest but I do love him as Alpha. I hope there's more of Warren and Kyle. They seemed so sweet together. Warren deserves some happiness. I got a soft spot for Sam and Stephan is really intriguing. Bring on Blood Bound!

I adore Adam. He's always going to be my fave guy in this series, although I have a soft spot for Samuel.

Sherri I agree I thought Adam was meh at first...I wanted her with Samuel, but after the first couple books I was so team Adam.

I have a soft spot for Ben and want him to have a happy story!!!!

Mercy and Adam belong together. Samuel is my favorite male character and I'm glad he is still in the books. He deserves happiness, I just have a soft spot for him. I love Ben too, even though he's a jerk, but you got to like him :)

I agree with Ben being misunderstood. I think being under Adam will be good for him, but I think Mercy will be the biggest influence. I think she is the first person her that he cared about...with him running into the fire and all...that was my favorite book with him in it...I can't even remember which one it was.

Ben moved up to one of my fav's after he explained to Adam what Mercy was feeling in Iron Kissed after the rape. His character offered so much EMPATHY that you just KNEW that he was the way he was because he had been abused himself.
But, despite his wariness and fear, he still helped both Mercy AND Adam understand what she was feeling.

Yeah that was a huge part in my love for Ben!!!! He really is amazing.

Ben's changed attitude toward, and support of, Mercy goes a long way with Adam. I am sure while he didn't move up in "rank", he moved up in respect and trust in Adam's eyes.

I think he could more up in rank if he wanted to. He is always the first to fight. Like he Adam is kidnapped Ben is the first to save him and when Mercy is being attacked by the giant water Fai he is the first changed and ready to fight.

That's true. I think Ben is feeling his way into this new pack and knowing who his friends are. We haven't seen the last of Ben.

I agree with Jen, I love Sam but he's just not meant to be with Mercy. However, I adore Adam and he and Mercy are so cute!!

I just started this series this week and I'm already almost finished with the second book. I can't say it's great literature but that's not why we read this kind of books is it? Overall it's very entertaining and keeps pulling me back.

I have to disagree. I think these books are fantastic literature. I truly love Briggs' writing. But I'm glad you're enjoying them, Ani.
