Finished
. Starting
. It takes place in St. Ausustine & I was there a few weeks ago. Thought it might be interesting.
Just finished
and
.I have just started devouring
. (I've been looking forward to this one since I finished Blood Promise.)
When I was last here I was reading The Endless Forest
. It's the sixth and final book in this historical fiction, Romance, meta-fiction epic. I didn't love it, but I'd read all the others, so I needed to read this, too.Since then I've read:
All Unquiet Things
which is a pretty good YA mystery. Unwind
which is a quite wonderful/ scarey YA dystopian novel. Then I reread Briar Rose
a WONDERFUL book. And today I finishedMarcelo In The Real World
-- it has a terrific and unique narrator.Next I'm reading The Good Fairies of New York
.
Carolyn F. wrote: "I finished Weddings From Hell and am now reading The Morganville Vampires."I LOVE the Morganville Vampires! Hope you do, too!
I finished The Good Fairies of New York
; it was fun, if not world- changing. Then Love is the Higher Law,
which is very special. Now reading:
This Book Is Overdue!: How Librarians and Cybrarians Can Save Us All
Finished Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas this weekend. Starting Going Bovine by Libba Bray today. After that, reading the long-awaited Kiss Of Death by Rachel Caine!

Jason wrote: "I'm going to read Divine Misfortune by A. Lee Martinez as soon as I finish WWW: Watch."Tell me how that book is. Been thinking about reading it but wasn't sure.

I finished The Morganville Vampires and Bitter Moon I: Triane's Son Ascending. I'm now reading Bitter Moon II: Triane's Son Reigning.
Chakara,It usually takes me more than a few hours to read a book. Well, Love is the Higher Law is only 167 pages and YA. But I don't speed read, I'm one of those who reads every word. I've finished and loved This Book Is Overdue!: How Librarians and Cybrarians Can Save Us All which is non-fiction about librarians and archivists in the 21st century and I'm about to start historical fiction Someone Knows My Name that all Canadians know about and almost no Americans do.

I thought this was the last one, but it looks like there is going to be another 3 pack out later this fall.
I find these stories to be really fast easy read. I do wonder about Sita though. From the first 3 to what I have read so far she seems like a totally different person.
I'm currently reading
, I'm about half way through reading it in small off-time like breaks at work. It started off kind of slow, but so far I'm really into it, and really enjoying what's going on.
Kayzee wrote: "Im reading shiver lol does it make everyone else feel like a teenager again lol"It did make me remember it a bit!
I'm reading the first book in the Cal Leandros series by Rob Thurman. It's pretty good so far. The flashback scene that she did with Cal was particularly awesome and pretty chilling. It's rare for something in a book to actually seem horrifying - so many authors try to get this, but rarely do they actually get to me.
I finally got my hands on
so will be reading that the rest of the night. I realize I am one of the few left on the planet that hasn't read it. I can finally stop avoiding all of the spoiler threads. lol

I agree. It's still the best book I've read, so far, this year.
Read
this week while on airplanes. Wasn't sure how into it I was for the first half, but when I finished I knew I was going to keep reading the series. Just started the 9th Anita Blake book
yesterday. Not sure if I'm going to like spending an entire book with Edward/Ted Forrester... but I'm hopeful.
