Just received A HARD DAY'S FRIGHT by Casey Daniels. It's the 7th in her Pepper Martin series. If you aren't familiar with the series, Pepper is a tour guide at a cemetery. In the first book she trips and falls, hits her head. Now she starts to see dead people and they ask for her help in finding out who killed them, clearing their name, etc. A fun series.

Finished the second book of the ACRO series (I read a few chapters of ACRO for my steamy sex fix while I was reading the Cal & Nik series - action only, no romance) and started the third book.

I'm finishing up Shady Lady by Ann Aguire. The series is okay, but it hasn't really grabbed me. Now I'm torn between starting The Negotiator Trilogy by C.E. Murphy or the Iron Druid series by Kevin Hearne. Any thoughts?

I agree - Corine Solomon Series was okay but it didn't hold a candle to some of the other series that Ann Aguirre writes like Sirantha Jax series. I also liked her YA book Enclave and read her skin series under the name Ava Gray. She is also releasing a trilogy under even another name, Ellen Connor. I have the first book but haven't started it yet.



I'm currently in the middle of a series called PsyCops about, well, psychic cops of course. Each Psychic cop is partnered with a "stiff" or a cop who is unaffected by psychic abilities. It's a great premise and I'm enjoying the book. It is from a male POV and has explict M/M scenes. I have read the first 2 books and am starting on the 3rd.

I'll second the nod for the Sirantha Jax series, it is really great!

I didn't realize that she was going to write under Ellen Connor. I have those books on my tbr, I will be moving it up now.
