Its a YA book but I really thought it had a unique feel about it and was very good for the first book in a series.

Just finished
and
(mostly to screen them for my classroom). Cute reads but definitely for a young audience. Now moving on to
Reading
. Loving the series so far. The scope of Jordan's imagination is staggering. Third in the series, twelve more to go!
I am reading
, however, i am listening to the audiobook of
. I read the book last week for the first time and wanted to read it again so i decided to get the audio to listen to at work while reading another book.
This month I have finished
The Lunatic Cafe,
Lover Unbound,
An Angel Healed Me: True Stories of Heavenly Encounters,
Lover Enshrined,
The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider's Guide,
Dead Reckoning: A True Blood Novel,
Lover Revealed,
Divine Misdemeanours,
Lover Avenged and
Catching Caroline.I am currently reading
The Mummy and
Jonas
I'm just starting
Haven't heard much about it so I'm not sure if this will be a "devour and move on to the second" or "stop halfway in because it is just too painful to finish"

Stopped reading
Can't put my finger on what it was that I didn't like... I got about 30 pages in and then quit. Perhaps it was the author's style... or the uninteresting main character. Oh well, life is too short for bad books.

I am finished the
tonight will start tomorrow
and will starting listening to the audiobook
.The Night watch was not what i expected it about the Light and the Darkness. The light calling themselves the Night Watchers and the try to protect the people. It was different and I was thinking of stop reading it but after you get in a few chapters it becomes interesting.

I'm rereading and enjoying
. (I was so excited to see it on the "New" bookshelf at the bookstore, but I've already read it, though I don't remember much about it. I read it three years ago, accourding to GR.)Next up maybe
,
,
or
.
I just finished a collection of essays entitled Grasshopper Dreaming by Jeffrey Lockwood. It's his take on grasshopper research, environmentalism, and human's place within the world. It was a good read.
Hi everyone:-)Right now I'm reading the last 100 pages in The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, it's a very interesting book.
Have a wonderful day.
Mysteriousbooks
I've read the first 156 or seven stories in
. It's brand new and for me it's like revisting a favorite place and dear friends. The first four Bordertown anthologies and novels were some of the first urban fantasy set in "a shared universe" a place where the human world and the world of faerie come in contact and sometimes conflict, where neither magic or science work predictably. These can be read in any order. Here are some of the previous titles:
,
,
, Life On The Border.
,
,
.
Loving it so far. It's the first in the series. I'm late to this series, actually. Book 5 is already out.
I am listening to
which is a good thing since it starts out boring as hell which is tough to get past but it does liven up some rather quickly. This morning I will start
. I loved the first in the series so high hopes for this one.
Currently reading
, which is more epic fantasy than urban fantasy, but with women as the primary characters. It's in the same universe as her book
from last year, but set hundreds of years before. So it's not necessary to have read that book first. Really liking it a lot.
I'm reading
. It's historical fiction set during the Civil War, about a midwife who wants to become a surgeon, and that's fine, but the author can't write characters!
