yeah I felt like it was so un-original and it kinda teed me off lol.Made me sick to my tummy :(. but i hae invested alot of time into reading it as far as I have so im going to give it alil break read some other things and come back to it.
right now im finishing up The Surgeon. After that I plan to read City of Glass try to read Evernight and Spells.
I have a bunch of YA books that are next for me. They are
and
These should keep me out of trouble for a while. :)
I justa started both Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
Finished up the fifth book in the Cal Leandros series, Roadkill, by Rob Thurman. I have to agree with a lot of the reviews that this is the weakest in the series so far. Just started Mercy Thompson 1, Moon Called, by Patricia Briggs. I'm usually not a fan of the female POV in these books so I'm a bit wary - hopefully it'll be good though. I am tempted to read something else though, this last Cal Leandros book had a good chunk of it dealing with wolves or talking about wolves... and so does Moon Called. I get a little tired of reading about the things. >.<
Little over halfway finished with One Thing or Your Mother, and then I'll be picking up Shadowed Summer from the library in a little while.
Finished rereading The Laughing Corpse, The Circus of the Damned, and Mark of the Demon(Not a reread). Started X-Rated Blood Suckers by Mario Acevedo and rereading The Lunatic Cafe.
Just finished up Moon Called (Mercy Thompson 1) by Patricia Briggs and am now onto Harm None: A Rowan Gant Investigation by M.R. Sellars.
I'm more than half-way through Sandman Slim, it's been pretty good so far, but I'll be interested in seeing where he goes with the characters through the end of this novel and in successive novels.
@ Jason, I have had that book on my TBR since forever I am glad you brought it up I think I will take a look.Reading
almost done with
and it's the best of the 3 books although I enjoyed them all. I've been dying to read
and I finally found it so on to that once I finish Bring on the Night.

Red-Headed Stepchild is also really good.
On Bitten
at the moment. It took a bit to get into but loving it like her other books. Next up after this is Blood Law
I am getting ready to read
, which I have reservations for as the first one was just so so for me, and
, which I am looking forward to as the first was good.
I just finished The Darkest Night and already started The Darkest Kiss, even though the first didn't live up to my expectations.
Finished up Harm None: A Rowan Gant Investigation by MR Sellars - it was painful to finish and I had to skim the last third or so of the book. Not surprisingly, I didn't feel like I missed much. I'm now reading Bleak History by John Shirley. It's interesting so far too - though I don't enjoy the split POV. Urban Fantasy has ruined me that way - I can't stand when books change POV throughout the book now. >.<
Still reading Sisters Red hoping to read for a bout five hours today and get it finished or about finished.
Reading Magic Bleeds and loving it. This series rocks!Today I'll be finishing up listening to Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. Almost sad for the book to end as I feel like I know many of the characters now.
After I finish Magic Bleeds, I'll be starting City of Veils: A Novel by Zoë Ferraris.

I finally finshed Some Girls Bite. Wasn't really impressed with it. I know this is a really popular series, but I really struggled with the it.Enjoying First Drop of Crimson though.

Heard it was good, so might as well try it out. MsBeaglely wrote: "I finally finshed Some Girls Bite. Wasn't really impressed with it. I know this is a really popular series, but I really struggled with the it."
You aren't alone; I feel the same way about this series. Don't really get all the hype about it.

the series gets a lot better as it goes. The third book was awesome, IMO. It reminds me of Kate Daniels in the way the books just get better and better (same can be said for The Mortal Instruments series).

I haven't totally given up hope on the series, I'm just not running out to buy the next book anytime soon.
I'm reading the Vegas Vampire series by Erin McCarthy right now. I'm on the third book. Just discovered unrban fantasy a few months ago and I've been devouring it. :)
So the five hour reading thing didnt really work out lol everytime i want to read people want to talk smh. Still reading sisters red and also just start The Demons Lexicon which is really good.

I could have just been in the mood for it too. :) It reminded me of a lot of different books, but was different enough to keep from annoying me with the similiarities.
There have been books I couldn't stand and friends would love them. :)
