Hello Michaela! Nice to meet you.
I also read both adult and YA books.

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Hi Michaela! I read the occasion adult book, but they often bore me to death. So I like YA :D

I'm not Michaela, but adult books are okay. It depends on what type of book it is. Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde (think I spelled that right) is an awesome book. And it's adult. So, yeah.

message 354: by Aela (new)

Aela Hello to you too,Heidi,Brigid, and Seth!

YA is a great genre...it can have anything from easy-to-read stuff to borderline adult books. That's what makes this group fun :)

And Seth, have you ever read the Sword of Truth series? They're adult books but pretty darn good, and I've yet to find a boring spot in any of them! :D (if you're a die-hard fantasy lover like me,of course)

message 355: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Wait, Picture, you aren't Michaela!?!?! NO WAY. I like a *few* adult books. And I can't think of any at the moment (which is a bad sign.)

Michaela- First off, your name is REALLY REALLY difficult to type. I messed up, like, four million times. I love YA! Never heard of Sword of Truth, but . . . I am NOT a die-hard fantasy lover. But I'll look 'em up! :D

message 356: by Aela (new)

Aela Psssh, don't blame me.My parents were under the influence of drugs when they named me,I'm pretty sure O.o

& yes,you should look them up.I dare you to try and enjoy an adult book series :D

I love the name Michaela. It's pretty. And it looks really cool.

No one ever spells my name right. It's sad. But I like Brigid much more than Bridget. :P

Do you pronounce your name like "Mikayla" or like the Mexican pronunciation. I have a friend named Michaela. She calls herself Mica. :)

message 359: by Aela (new)

Aela Thanks Brigid!I like your name too :)

@ Seth: pronounced like "Mikayla".Interesting nikname for her but sadly I don't have a nickname since I never bothered to make one.Ah well.

message 360: by Aela (new)

Aela Ohhh wait! Nevermind,I lied, though unintentionally.

I do have a nickname, but it has nothing to do with my actual name. All of my online friends call me 'Stoney'.....I have yet to figure out how that name got started O.o

I'm...uh...Picture. Not Seth. Sorry for being a conversation intruder, but I was interested just for that second because of my friend's name.

I suspected your name was pronounced like "Mikayla."

I like that name...though your nickname confuses me. But no need to explain.

message 362: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments I like the name, it's just spelled funky. No offense.

BRIGID IS SOOO MUCH COOLER THAN BRIDGET. Just sayin.

K. Dawn (kdawnbyrd) | 1 comments Hey, guys! My name is K.Dawn Byrd and I love young adult fiction. I've been reading Simone Elkeles and am enjoying her work. Not only do I love reading YA fiction, I've found that I love writing it. My first young adult romance relased a couple of days ago and I just signed a contract for a young adult mystery series for next year. I'm excited about being a part of the group!

Whoops, I lied. Apparently, I'm a river or a wizard. Either one works for me. I come in peace. And I am not a bee.

Get used to it. I'm like this all the time. :P

Picture Perfect (picturesperfect) Aw shucks, you guys are awesome as well. When it comes to writing online, my personality totally changes. People think I'm shy. But I'm quiet. Quiet. But not shy. I don't like talking to people who are not worth talking too. Like people who don't try to do well. Annoying.

A fan club, eh? So far, I have a blog because my dad told me to get me one. Since my parents learned English as a second language really, they don't understand fiction or poetry at all. Whenever I get super excited about a poem, I make the mistake of showing it to my parents. They read it. But they don't understand it. I'm like, "What?"

So...blog. That way my dad won't laugh at my poetry because he can't understand it. Ha. *raises eyebrows* Not fun to hear my dad laugh for 15 minutes straight about how he can't understand my poetry. But so far, the blog has only three followers. Me, myself, and I. So lonely. My first post is a random character conversation. It's weird.

*slaps head* I'm rambling again. 'Tis all right. I have rabies. Nothing more. Bahahaha. *chokes and dies*

Nice try picture. You have already stated your age and grade in school - I think you even mentioned driver's education class!

message 379: by Picture (new)

Picture Perfect (picturesperfect) I told you I was a late bloomer. A really really late bloomer. :P

I'm not even sure I'm supposed to be driving. I'm currently friends with three doctors and ten nurses....

message 380: by Picture (new)

Picture Perfect (picturesperfect) Maybe I lied about my age.....I---

Hahaha. I'm not 87. But seriously, don't feel old. Age is just a number.

"Age is but a number....love...is infinite."(taken from a very funny youtube video making fun of Twilight):D

& Picture,I know how you feel, with the poetry thing.Nobody understands my insanity!:O *cackles evilly*
