Hey everyone I'm Sarah. I love reading YA lit. because the books are usually really quick reads. Sometimes I feel guilty reading it since I am an adult, but I just tell myself it's for research since I teach high school.
Welcome Sarah! No need to feel guilty about reading YA. I am an adult and I read a lot of YA simply because I love it. :)
Hi everyone. The first book I ever published was a young adult novel, and now, after many more novels for adults, I have been reading y/a with an eye to writing more because I love it.Here's a link to my y/a novel SOUL CATCHER on Goodreads. It's available in paperback and ebook:

Welcome Sarah! I don't even have a reason to read YA as an adult but I still love it. Welcome to you as well Katia!

Some of the ya I've been reading lately is better than some of the adult novels. A good novel is a good novel. Period. For example: The Hunger Games...great writing, deeply compelling story, wonderful rich characters.
Hello all! I'm Michaela, and will call myself a bookworm on occassion....because I am! :) I like to read just about anything, but lately some of the best books I've read were in the YA genre (Hunger Games, anyone?).But I'll be honest,I do read adult books often enough....but on here it gives me a chance to find more amazing YA books.Looking forward to reading some great books with you all!
