Hi everyone! My name is Cecilia and I am a 17 yr young high school senior living in the Seattle area, Sammamish to be exact. Reading has been a huge part of my identity for pretty much my whole life and I've been reading YA since at least middle school and love it just as much now as I did then. I'm excited that everyone else gets as excited as I do reading and discussing YA :) Elsewhere on the internets, I blog over at ceciliatoo.com. Nice to meet you all!
Hi Cecilia! Great to have you in the group and I think you'll fit in perfectly with us book lovers ;)
Hey.

I hear you, Oda! I always stay up way too late reading! It's been fun getting to know you! Welcome! :)
yes, its actually kinda a problem.
I try sometimes to read during the day but I just cant get into the reading mojo during the day. I read for hours in the evening and night but days dont work for me anymore :/ :P

Welcome Oda! I use to read a lot, in bed, when I was younger. Sometimes I won't even realize that it's morning and all I hear is people getting up to go to work. Now I can't have the same luxury! I miss those days.
Hello (: My name is Taylor Hondos. I am a new author who just published a book called "The Antidote." It is about a deadly disease going around that makes your skin rot. There is a cure that is discovered that has a dangerous catch. Lena Alona's father, Dr. Alona was in charge of discovering a cure for Dermandecatis but he was mysteriously murdered, leaving the burden of the world on Lena. Lena is teamed up with a dangerous boy, Jared, who pushes her to believe in herself. Lena must decide if she is the true cure for the human race. This book has a darker theme with a love story attached to it.
I am 19 years old and I am studying to be an Elementary School teacher(:
I love books and writing them(: I can't wait to discuss books!

Howdy. My name is Kara Karnatzki. I'm a YA author and reader. I used to be a ghost-writer for a well-known celebrity (which was a weird, wonderful and sometimes very annoying experience!), but now I'm writing the kind of books I like, under my own name. YA rocks!
Hi everyone I am Richa . I love reading books a lot and look forward to reading many more
Hello my name is bill. I am a big reader. Fiction fantasy is my genre. Read so many books it's hard to find something new. Just discovered this app and I hope I meet interesting people here.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I love reading and I have admittedly not been putting aside enough time to read and I'd like to change that!
Hi I'm Nora I love reading YA books. I'm already in 2 other groups but I think I can handle this one too. I'm a total bookaholic.
Welcome to the group Tanya! I'm doing great, how are you? What kind of books do you like to read? And what kind of books do you write?
Thanks! I'm currently reading FanGirl and London Calling. Definitely a recommendation, especially London Calling. I'm currently writing a Young Adult book with the main character going through tragic experiences. It involves world issues so it has a broad variety of scenarios.
Hi, I'm Anita. Love to read YA books. I'd like to write one one day, so I'm finishing up an online writing course. As to genre, pretty much everything. Horror is not my forte, though I was impressed with Kendare Blake's writing. I read lots of fantasy and Sci-fi. My favourite of all movies is the Matrix trilogy and I'm a big Doctor Who fan -new series. Thanks for sending me the book to read for December. I do have a problem to decide which to choose and have a long currently-reading list. Can't wait to start on Icefall: Listen to me. For I have many stories to tell… What a nice line to start a book!
