Hi, I'm Emma! I have quite the diverse library but have a major soft spot for YA. Excited to start participating and sharing my (ahem) obsession with reading with others! :)

Hey Brittney, I just noticed you don't have a GRs author page? You should definitely get one, trust me, it's important especially when you're starting out.
Hello! I just saw this group on David Estes updates lol. So here I am! I am Justine. I'm 23 and I LOVE TO READ! I wish it was my full time job lol. But sadly I have a "real" job as a nurse lol. But I do have my own blog and love reviewing mostly YA books.

I was off radar for a little while (okay 6 weeks, but I've repented)...re-saying hi to everyone.I'm Chris and I like to write and read (though my trend is to be slower than I would like at both) and I think I'm funnier than I really am (at least that's what my wife tells me);-).
The Graceling series brought me into the YA world, I did not like Divergent as much as I would have liked, and I think Shannon Hale is a very gifted storyteller.

Hello all, my name is Gretchen. Karen, one of your active members, has been my friend for almost 30 years and we have been running our own business now for over 7 years. I have been a member since Karen invited me a bit ago and I have thoroughly been enjoying reading and hearing about you all ...and oh yeah, all those great book recommendations. I have two incredible energetic kids (9 and 7), a great husband, successful biz..I love tv, movies, family and friends and reading. I have read all kinds of books, don't get as much time to read as I would like, but recently finished the Chaos Walking series and The Lunar Chronicles and was completely absorbed by both..my next series is The Moon Dwellers as I have also become a fan of David Estes the person and author! If there were more hours in the day I might be able to read more, sleep is sometimes overrated :) ....and don't anyone tell Karen, but I finished reading Scarlet, book 2 of Lunar Chronicles this afternoon when I was supposed to be working...ssshhhhhh. So, between the working, the family, a little bit of t.v., Facebook post here and there, pin some cool stuff I won't have time for on Pinterest and the reading...I would like to chit and chat here and there, rather than just lurk. And oh yeah, I think there should be 6 stars for ratings on here..3 for avg., 4 for good, 5 for great and 6 for those rare flawless books that you never forget..I find I am boring myself by giving everyone a 4 because they are better than avg, but must save that 5 stars...some of my great 4s I feel like I have cheated them by putting them in the same spot as my good 4s.....and I've just barely started.....and that is all I have for now! :)

. ;-P Especially since I've never ever done that ever (usually at least once a week for me!) Hahahahaa...And good suggestion about the rating system on GR. I have sooooo many 4.5's and 5.5's, and they all get 5's. Same for the tons of 4's I have. And just a very few 5's that should really be 6's. Makes perfect sense to me.
