Hi A.C.! Welcome.Hi Nicole! I'm also from the Phil. it's always nice to see Filipinos around here :)
Hello everyone! (Been a long time since I've popped into this thread)And WAY belated congratulations to you Bluemoon! (I'm about 12+ years into marriage, so the shine has long worn off, though the love hasn't!) :P
Hi Everyone! I'm a big YA reader and I'm also a co-author of the Night Marchers series, a YA paranormal series. Happy to be a part of this group. I'm looking forward to making friends. :D
Hello I'm Gabrielle! I used to think I hated young adult, but after reading a few good ones I realized that I do enjoy reading this genre. Now I'm happy to say that I love reading young adult.

Hello! Welcome :)
Hello! Welcome :)
I feel very welcome to be in this group! I am happy too that I found my love of YA.
Well hello there! My name is Christy and lately, all I have done is read. I go through reading phases quite often and right now I am at my peak. I just moved to a new area and haven't yet gone to the library, so I pretty much live at the bookstore. I looooove all the posts this group puts up!
I’m Lynda Engler and I’m working on my next novel, a YA speculative fiction novel called “Out of Ewr” and I want to connect with people who read the genre. Yes, I want to pick your brain! (But not eat it! there are some zombie-like creatures in “Out of Ewr” who MIGHT want to eat your brain though!)You can check out my Goodreads author page @ http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/....
Please send a friend request or follow me. I'm enjoying meeting so many people on Goodreads and can't wait to get involved in the monthly discussions here.
Wonderful to meet you all.
Hi Christy! Welcome to all that I haven't had a chance to say "hi" to.(I'm now working again, which is why I'm even more absent than usual. Which is good!) :)
Hello, my name's Gail.I don't really have specific genres that I like, but it seems that most of the books I really enjoyed are YA so yes, I'm here~
Hi everyone!
I just joined this group and wanted to introduce myself. I love to read and I’m also a published author. And I read about 3 books a month. Also, I love discovering new writers! I LOVE YA books! :-D
Which are your favorites in this genre? Any good books featuring zombies or witches as recommendations?
Happy reading,
Sherry

Welcome Sherry! I have heard good things about
. I love dystopian YA and just normal everyday stories (general fiction I guess).

Ooh yes, I love Rot & Ruin. The author is a cool guy, too. I was in a chat with him on Twitter the other night. Anyway, hmmm other zombie books. Well, I really liked The Reapers Are the Angels. And I liked The Forest of Hands and Teeth somewhat, but I feel like I'm in the minority and most people hate that book ... Otherwise I haven't read a whole lot of zombie books. I've heard that Feed is really good but I haven't read that one yet; it's on my Kindle, though. ;)
Hey everyone! Just joined the group and wanted to say hi! I've been reading a lot of YA lately and really loved it. Just because it's marked YA doesn't mean us adult fan girls can't enjoy it right? Can't wait to discover more enjoyable reads.

Thank you everyone for a warm welcome.Giulia are you stalking my groups now? ;)
Glad to be here with you hon :)
Welcome, Karolina! And I think YA, if it's written right, can and should be enjoyed by all ages. About half of my fans range in age from 35-60. I love that I get such a broad range of people emailing and posting about my books (and I read YA myself at age 35) :). Also, not to confuse you, in case you check out my Goodreads name, I have another account under Kristen Taber that has my YA book on it (Aerenden: The Child Returns). One of these days I have to join my accounts. I can write and spend enough time immersed in the digital age, but I'm so technology challenged some days...lol.
