Shannon Just saw the author on a local TV show in SF. He teaches law and politics at USF. Very, very knowledgeable about the development of baseball and how it was used in the development of early US - He sold me on the book...there's a book signing at Book Passage in Corte Madera 5/7 and Pegasus Books, Berkeley 5/17.
