Orihime's head whipped around to her friend. "You can see again!" she celebrated, running to her friend and helping her up.
Monique smiled,"You all look different than I thought. Sora isnant a whimp. Etsuyo is kinda the same actually." She laughed.
Etsuyo glared at her. 'Did she really have to say that?' while everyone else laughed.
"Well she's..." Orihime started.
"Let's just go," Etsuyo announced.
"Doko ka?" Sora asked.
Sweat dropped down the back of Etsuyo's head, to which everyone again began laughing.
"Home," she said.
"A cardboard box?" Sora asked again.
"Orosai! It's not like you do much better anyway!" she yelled at him before noticing his sly expression. "N-No way..."
He laughed. "She said I could," he defended.
Etsuyo whipped her head around to look at Orihime. "Hontou?"
Orihime's face went red. "H-Hai," she confirmed.
"Disgusting..." Etsuyo muttered. "You just think you're all high and mighty cause you have a girlfriend that will let a homeless guy like you crash at her place."
"This coming from the homeless GIRL?" he asked sassily.
"Oi, oi, mi ne, moy he," Orihime started. "You can all crash at my place...well...some of you can. Of course Sora is coming...and I'll take Etsuyo and Ugoki as well..." she announced, continuing to look around. "And Ayame...but that's it. Will you be okay, Tsubaki?"
Tsubaki beamed at her. "Of course."
She smiled back. "Then we'll see everyone tomorrow." She turned back to Monique. "Hope you feel better," she wished before running back to Sora's arms.

Monique nodded and laughed. Chikara stared at Monique and helped her up.
"Chikara-kun, this is Kionu." Monique introduced.3
Kionu looked at Chikara and smiled.
Kyori jumped up at the three girls.
"Senkou come with us." Monique offered.
Senkou nodded and walked with the three girls and dog to Monique's house.

Orihime groaned as the sun shined into her eyes. She heard her cell phone going off. 'Good grief,' she thought while moving her hand around to blindly find it. He eyes flashed open when another hand brushed against hers.
"I got it," a voice she knew as Sora's whispered into her ear. She heard the phone flip open. "Mushi, mushi."
She heard someone talking on the other side.
"Uh, yeah, she's right here."
More talking.
He stuck his hand over the receiver. "Ayame wants to know if you're making stir fry tonight," Sora whispered to his girlfriend.
"Uh...Naze?" she asked.
There was more talking coming out of the speaker as Sora held it far away from his ear. "Okay, okay..." he said, handing the phone to Orihime.
She groaned yet again and sat up. "Nani?" Orihime asked sleepily.
"There's a sale on frozen veggies. You want me to get some?"
Monique opened her eyes and stretched as she sat up. Kyori was at the foot of the bed and Chikara was out on the floor. Monique stretched again and got up. She poked at Chikara with her foot.
"Chikara? Wake up." Monique said.
Chikara rolled over and sat up.
"I'll go now." Chikara dashed out of Monique's room.
Monique looked in her closet and saw her favorite blue sundress. She whistled for Kyori and Inu. She walked down stairs and looked around. Boy had she missed her sight.
"Odoroki!" Kionu yelled and ran up to hug her sister.
Monique pushed Kionu away and smiled,"I'm happy to see ou too."
Ckikara scratched the back of her head, already dressed. Senkou slid down the stairs and came into the kitchen.
"Gu-tenmorugen!" He greeted them.
Monique smiled.
Chikara rolled her eyes and sat down. Kionu sat down too. Senkou sat next to Chikara.
"Asameshi!" Monique announced, setting waffles infront of everyone.

"Y-Yeah...veggies...great," Orihime told Ayame slowly, watching Sora go through her clothes.
"Is that pervert doing something to you? I CAN beat him up for you."
"N-No, no. It's okay..."
"What's he doing?" Ayame asked in a suspicious tone, the sound of frozen bags hitting the bottom of the cart on the other side of the line.
"H-He's...."
Nothing was said. "I swear...If he's getting on to you again..."
"No. It's not like that."
"Then what is it?"
Orihime let out a slight yelp as Sora held up a bra from her dresser drawer.
"What is it? What is he doing?" Ayame asked hurriedly.
"H-H-Ha-Have to talk to you later. Bye," Orihime answered quickly, pressing the off button then screaming: "SORA!!!"
Etsuyo burst through the door. "What is it?" she asked, poised to fight.
Orihime's face went beet red. "He-He-He-HE..."
Etsuyo turned to look at Sora. Her face twisted up in surprise and disgust. "I'm going to leave this between the two of you," she finished, closing the door.
After many minutes...
Orihime walked out into the kitchen. "Ohayou," she announced tiredly, seeing Ayame now sitting down at the table with a cup of coffee and the morning magazines.
"Walmart has a sale on sneakers and tank tops," Ayame informed her, not looking up from the sale catalogs in fear of seeing the monstrosity she called 'pervert'.
"Maybe we can go today," Orihime piped up, back to her normal self. She grabbed a waffle out of the freezer and popped it in the toaster.
"I spoke with Monique," Etsuyo interrupted. A serious aura fell over the group. "I need to tell you guys...We might have a new enemy."
Senkou dug into the blueberry-stuffed waffles. Chikara and Kionu looked at eachother, shrugged, and began eating. Monique finished quickly and got up. SHe whistled again and Ritoru, Inu, and Kyori darted out the back door as Monique opened it. She closed the door and looked at Chikara and Kionu.
"Want to go shopping for some sunner clothes?" She asked.
Kionu smiled and nodded. Chikara rolled her eyes.
"I thought 9 year olds were into shopping." Monique joked.
"Not this one." Chikara folded her arms.
Monique laughed and picked up her and the girls plates. She grabbed three leashes and opened the back door. Inu and Ritoru strolled in, but not Kyroi. Monique dropped the leashes and rushed outside.
"Kyori!"

"Kyori!"
Shock was imminent in every person at the kitchen table. "S-So...The government wants our power too?" Orihime asked, confused.
"Yes," Etsuyo confirmed, then sighed. "How did it come to this?" she mumbled out loud. Her head whipped back up, her eyes locked with everyone else's. "We fight back," she said determinedly.
Everyone nodded.
'Although, if the government is after us...' "Can we keep our houses?" Orihime blurted out.
Sora turned towards her. Sensing her fear, he squeezed her hand.
"This apartment is under your brother's name but I don't know about Monique. They may be in trouble as we speak."
Orihime tightened her grip on Sora's hand. "We can all stay here then."
"No."
Orihime looked up in shock. "Why not?"
"Think about it. Eight or ten teenagers all living in an apartment this size? Someone will be suspicious." She stood up, pushing herself off the counter she was leaning back on. "Those who know how to live on the streets should continue living that way."
Orihime's body tensed. 'Sora's going to...'
"I'm not going anywhere," he whispered into Orihime's ear. She instantly relaxed.
"I believe you're okay, Ayame."
Ayame looked up. "Why's that?"
"Because your parents weren't Elementals. As far as I know, they're hunting us down by looking at past records and by spying on us. Not many people would know your power just by looking at you on a day to day basis."
Ayame nodded, acknowledging the truth of her comment. "I think I can take up Monique and Chikara in addition to Tsubaki. Maybe I can squeeze in Kionu..."
"No, let me take Chikara. Then you guys can pass as sisters living together," Orihime interrupted. "You guys look so alike anyway, the only difference is your eyes and the length of your hair."
"You're right," Ayame told her friend.
"Chikara, Sora, and Senkou can stay with me. Of course...you're welcome as well Etsuyo."
"I know the lay of the land. Daijoubu." she told them, relinquishing all doubts of her demise. "Although, Senkou should stay with Ayame. I'm sure he and someone else could pass as boyfriend and girlfriend instead of being a leftover here."
Orihime nodded in agreement. "You're right."
"We put our plan in to action tonight. Let's go find Monique."
"Alright!" they cheered in unison, scooting out of their chairs and leaving the apartment vacant.

Monique looked in her yard frantically and sighed in releif when Kyori jumped over the back fence, panting.
"What happened?" Monique asked.
Government agents. Everywhere. We are not safe here.
Monique gulped and scooped up Kyori, trotting back inside.
"I found Kyroi." Monique huffed.
Chikara sighed in releif and looked wide-eyed. Kionu charged up sairs, returning with her walkietalkies. Monique shook hr head. Kionu dropped tthem on the counter. Senkou yawned and put up his dishes.
There was a knock on the door.
Monique put the leashes on all three dogs. She handed Inu to Kionu and Ritoru to Chikara. She held onto Kyori. Monique plunged her hand to the door knob and turned it.

Etsuyo saw the men in black suits at the door and stared in horror at the turning handle. 'We can't let them get in.' "Take out the government agents. Don't get yourself caught and don't get hurt," she commanded.
The group nodded in agreement.
Etsuyo pulled out her katanas and said a prayer over them, blessing them with light. Eiry appeared at her side. "Let's do this!" she pepped, landing on Etsuyo's shoulder to gather intelligence on the enemy.
Sora tilted his head sideways. "Ready?" he asked his girlfriend.
"Of course," she replied, smiling back at him, pulling her keys out of her pocket. "Which element?" she asked. "Besides wind."
"I know that," he said, rolling his eyes sarcastically. "We don't want a forest fire. Go green, save the trees," he joked. She laughed in response. "Go with thunder. It'll be a good back-up for Monique's water."
Orihime nodded and held the key labeled 'Raikou' between her thumb and index finger. Sora's cross glowed around his neck and the star symbol appeared beneath them, moving as they moved. The lines that usually appeared grey glowed a dazzling gold. Orihime smiled at her handiwork. Sora pulled out his bow and an arrow. "Let's do this," he pepped, his fingers tensing on the bowstring as the arrow became surrounded by electricity.

Senkou pulled out his whip. Chikara disappeared. Kionu turned into a cheetah. Monqiue gupled. Kyori took her stance to ready her bark. Inu and Ritoru stood close together.
"Ready?" Monique asked.
Everyone nodded.
Monique slung the door open, knocking out an official.
"Ready?" Monique asked.
Everyone nodded.
Monique slung the door open, knocking out an official.
Etsuyo flew in, chopping two agents in the process. 'Five more,' she thought as she turned and readied for another attack.
Sora shot the arrow into the center of the group of men. All of them fell to the ground, holding their hearts. "Get them now!" he called out.
Ayame made one pull out his gun. 'Shoot him,' she thought strongly as the trigger went off and yet another official dropped dead.

Senkou jumped into the middle of it and whipped the back of many agents, making them fall as easy target for the others to kill. Chikara came upon an official and flipped him over and threw him into hte yard. Monique whistle and shot water pistols at the remaining offiials. Inu and Ritoru became a gaint monster and crushed many and the agents thart were in the yard. Kyori barked and pushed back many of the agents. Kionu lunged forward, kciking over and agent.
'Time to finish this off,' Orihime thought. "Monique-kun! Back me up!" she called to her friend. She then turned to her boyfriend and whispered sarcastically: "I guess Old Smokey's gonna get me in my sleep. Can you stop him before he mauls me?"
Sora laughed. "I'll maul him before he does anything to you."
She smiled at him. "Arigato." She then put the key labeled 'Hi' between her fingers, the lines on the star changing to an orange, then to a red. "Bark, Hi," she said, the familiar fire-dog appearing before them. "Fireball," she told him.
The dog gathered a large breath then blew it out, a giant fireball becoming airborne in a bullseye track for the group of men.
Everyone except the officials immediately evacuated the area.
Sora laughed. "I'll maul him before he does anything to you."

Monique shot her hands up and out, flooding the offiaials over with a free-spirited wave. Kyori barked to spread the wave out and make it faster. Inu and Ritoru returned. Chikara was visable and Kionu had become human again. Monique pulled down her hands and the wave splashed down onto the officials' vans.
The wave washed away the imprudent forest fire as Orihime breathed a sigh of relief. "Katta?" she asked Sora, Hi returning to his key.
"Sa ne?" he answered rhetorically.
"I think so," Etsuyo told her, putting her katanas away. "We have to evacuate this house before more officials come. We don't have much time."
Sora and Orihime nodded.
The group ran up to Monique, Chikara, Kionu, and Senkou. "We have to leave this house and sell it," Etsuyo announced.

"No! It's not even mine! It's my parents!" Monique yelled.
Chikara shrugged and put the leases back on the dogs.
Kionu spoke up,"I have no idea what's been going on. I was trapped in a vortex for who knows how long."
Senkou listened.
Chikara shrugged and put the leases back on the dogs.
Kionu spoke up,"I have no idea what's been going on. I was trapped in a vortex for who knows how long."
Senkou listened.
Etsuyo was brought deep into thought. 'If it isn't under her name then maybe...' "Are your parents Elementals?"
"It'll be under your father's name..." Etsuyo mumbled to herself.
There was a short silence as everyone's eyes were fixed on Etsuyo.
"We still have to leave. They'll come after you because they know your heritage." Etsuyo turned to Orihime's part of the group. "We stick with the original plan," she told them, then explained the plan to Monique's group.

Monique nodded,"I guess I do look like Ayame. Kionu and I look nothing alike though."
Kionu looked up,"It's true."
Kionu looked up,"It's true."
Orihime's sweat dropped. "That's so weird. Especially cause you guys are ACTUALLY sisters."
Sora laughed. "Genetic mutation," he said simply, causing everyone else to laugh as well.
"You might be able to pass it off. We put the plan in action tonight," Etsuyo announced. "Everyone be ready." She turned to leave.
"Where are you going?" Orihime asked her.
"I have some business to take care of," she replied, running down the street. Orihime stared after her in wonder.

"And Tsubaki. Chikara comes with me," Orihime told her.
"It'll be kinda cramped but Orihime and I can stay in the same room," Sora told her.
Ayame bashed him on the head. "In your dreams, pervert."
He rubbed his head gently. 'Geez, little...' He stopped mid-thought as he remembered who he was talking to.
He earned another head bash.
"Okay, okay, stop hitting me!" he cried.
Orihime got between them. "Please Ayame-kun." The look in her eye told her friend she was serious.
Ayame nodded. "Fine but if he gets on to you, I won't stop." She paused. "At least until you're married," she whispered.
Orihime smiled. "Duh."

Ayame laughed a fake laugh. "It's kinda obvious. Seriously, didn't you see her change of attitude after they took down Kisaki?"
Orihime's face went red. "That was..."
Ayame smiled. "See? Something did happen. Why don't you tell everyone?"
"Ayame-kun..." Orihime cried.
Sora laughed. "I wouldn't mind showing you again." Orihime's face went beet red.
Ayame whacked him. "I don't think we need to see it," she told him.

"YOU ONLY WANT TO KISS HER YOU BASTARD!" Ayame yelled at him.
Orihime's sweat dropped as she watched her friends argue. "Come on guys.." She screamed as Ayame pulled her arm.
"LIKE HELL I'LL LET YOU HAVE HER!"
Sora smirked. "Oh well, she'll always come to ME in the end," he said, jerking Orihime towards him.
They continued to pull on Orihime and yelling nasty comments at each other.
'Seriously?' Orihime thought, her hair flying. "STOP!!" she finally yelled, the two of them stopping. She caught her breath. "I won't leave Sora-kun and I know when to stop Ayame-kun so just STOP FIGHTING!"
They dropped her arms.
Orihime rubbed her sore wrists. 'Geez, those two...'

"I agree with Ayame." Monique nodded.
Chikara handed Monique Kyori's leash.
"Do you want me to take Ritoru or you?" Chikara asked.
"I'll take him. He needs to be with Inu." Monique toko the leash from Chikara.
Chikara smiled and walked over to Kionu.
"I'm going with Orihime and your going ith Ayame." She explained.
Kionu nodded and grasped Inu leash.
"I'll always have you pal." She whispered to herself.

The three friends saw the others getting ready to head home. Sora smiled slyly to himself then stuck his tongue out at Ayame.
She gave him a disgusted look. "Well, just as long as nothing happens to Orihime-kun..." She paused, half-turning to face him. "And you'll regret it if something does," she threatened, leaving with the rest of the group heading to her house.
There was a short silence. "Well...Let's get moving," Orihime announced, turning around to head back home.
The others followed.
Etsuyo ran as fast as she could, the cross on her bracelet beginning to glow. 'So it is around here,' she thought. She'd remembered what Kisaki told Sora: "I killed your parents!" But...what about her's?
The graveyard gave off an eerie feel. She began to feel something...just like she had at the door before the battle. 'The dead police officer...Who was he?' she wondered.
"Etsuyo-sama, mite." Eiry told her.
Etsuyo stopped, examining her surroundings. 'What is that?' The glowing inscription on the stone made chills go down her spine. She walked over to investigate. "Here sleeps a pure-hearted hero. RIP," she announced. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Eiry wiped off the dust underneath.
"'Where did you go, Hanako?' Who's Hanako?"
"I don't know," Eiry told her, a frown on her face. "But I think this was the man you saw," she said, pointing to the blue cap hanging lazily over the corner.
"A police officer..." Etsuyo wondered aloud.
"What are you doing?" a voice from behind her asked, causing her to jump.
She turned to see a boy with dark brown hair. "Who are you?"
"If you know what's good for you, you'd leave."
She stared questioningly at the teenager. "What's your name?"
"Leave," he said sternly.
"This is public property," she retorted, her eyes closed.
The boy grabbed her collar. "What, are you going to spend the night here?"
Her eyes flashed open. "What are you talking about?"
He smiled. "I know who you are, Etsuyo."
Her eyes widened. 'How does he know my name...?'
She gave him a disgusted look. "Well, just as long as nothing happens to Orihime-kun..." She paused, half-turning to face him. "And you'll regret it if something does," she threatened, leaving with the rest of the group heading to her house.

Monique nodded and followed Ayame. Kionu waved good-bye to her friend as Chikara left with Orihime. Monique sighed and continued on. Senkou b;ew the hair from hius face, bored as heck.
The boy laughed. "I know everything about you, Hanako."
Her eyes practically popped out of their sockets. "H-Hanako?"
He laughed again. "I made you stutter!" he exclaimed, pointing to her.
Her sweat dropped. "W-What...?"
He continued to laugh. "Hanako-san, you really don't remember?" he asked more seriously.
"I've never seen you before," she told him, hardening herself.
He smiled, his head tilting sideways and his eyes turning into upside-down 'u's. "Nee-san."
She stopped. She couldn't figure it out. 'He just said...' "Nee-san?" she asked slowly.
His face became serious. "So it really is true..."
She couldn't figure out what was going on. "What's true?"
"They wiped your memory," he told her, his hair covering his face as his expression would most likely be demonic with anger.

"Just down the street," she pointed out, her finger as straight as a board.
Tsubaki laughed. "Kinda hard to miss it. It's the only one that looks abandoned."
"Hey!" Ayame exclaimed, feigning anger. The whole time Tsubaki kept laughing.

Monique rolled her eyes as they approached Ayame's house. Kyori whined and stopped.
"What is it Kyroi?" Monique asked.
More agents.
"Guys, I think there may be more agents around. We are only a block away." Monique said.
Kionu all of a sudden looked serious. Senkou payed attenion.

Tsubaki stopped laughing, realizing the seriousness of her comment.
"Doko?" Ayame almost growled but quickly changed her attitude when her phone began to ring. She pulled it out of her pocket and flipped it open. "We have a problem over here," she whispered into it.
"SO DO WE!" Orihime practically screamed. There were sounds of jostling and whispering with quiet sobs. "Okay," she whispered this time. "How many on your side?"
Ayame looked to Kyori for guidance.

Kyori thought hard for Ayame because she had a natrual connection with Chikara and Monique.
There are about five or six here.
There are about five or six here.
"Five or six," Ayame told the phone.
Sobs came from the other end, then Sora's voice: "Can you get here?"
Ayame looked puzzled. "Naze?"
"Because we're surrounded. By at least thirty."
Ayame practically dropped the phone. Tsubaki shook her shoulder. "Nee-san, daijoubu?"

"We must help them." She finally said.

Monique looked at Kyori,"Kyori can. Inu can try."

Ayame turned and raced off without another comment.
"NEE-SAN!" Tsubaki yelled from behind her, wings appearing on her back as she rushed after her sister.
'Orihime-kun...you can't die...' Ayame thought hurriedly, tears stinging her eyes. 'You said that we would always be friends...that we would...'
*FLASHBACK*
"I'll always be your friend, no matter what," the young blonde said, her hair pulled back by a heart hairpin.
The crying girl next to her looked up, her brunette hair blowing in the wind, the iris in her hair gently swaying. "Arigato," she replied, her shrill voice mirroring that of a young toddler's.
They smiled at each other, small giggles escaping their lips as the blonde helped her best friend up.

'...we would do everything together.' Her footsteps continued to sound on the concrete.
Meanwhile at Orihime's apartment...
Sora cursed as the banging on the door became louder. "Sora-kun?" Orihime asked slowly and timidly, her eyes fixed on his shaking fingers already tensed on the bowstring.
"Shinpainai."
She looked into his eyes, the dark blue became like an ocean of endless depth. She nodded to him. "Okay."
"Open up!" a voice from the other side of the door said.
The two lovers didn't say anything. Orihime swallowed hard. Sora's fingers played on the string, the electricity flowing through his body. The yellow, black, and white star beneath them glowed with resolve.
But none of them were expecting what came next.
Ayame heard it. A gunshot. No mistake. 'That came from Orihime's apartment,' she thought, panicky. 'Just what in the world is going on over there?'
Orihime gripped her arm, the blood flowing out. Sora dropped his guard for a second. "Don't worry about me," she told him but he still saw the red liquid.
He gritted his teeth. 'There's no way they're going to live.' He pointed the arrow at the door and shot it. There was a loud scream from the other side.
Orihime watched, her eyes bewildered. She felt the same sensation she had when Kisaki told him she killed his parents. The feeling of blood-lust. Of wanting to kill someone so bad...
"Sora-kun?" she whispered, tears gathering in her eyes. The feeling of darkness surrounding him sent shivers down her spine.
"Gomen, Orihime-kun," he whispered back, hair covering his face. "I won't let them hurt you anymore." He lifted his face up, his expression one of pure anger.
Orihime gasped. 'That isn't Sora...That isn't...'
Surprise was etched on Etsuyo's face. All the things that former ring had done to her...and Sora...
"Sora and you...you used to be friends with him."
Her head whipped around to once again meet Ryu's face. "I used to...what?"
"You two had been very close friends. His parents were college sweethearts, married at eighteen when they started a family. His father was the executive of a very powerful agency, one that dealt with meatpacking and processing. He had...a sister...for awhile but...she didn't make it," he ended in a whisper.
Etsuyo's face matched that of Ryu's: filled with regret and solemness.
"Our mother died giving birth to me. And our father...well he died in the line of duty."
Etsuyo's mind flashed back to the vision of the dead police officer. "What did he do?" she asked.
"He worked for the county police department; he was the sheriff."
Her eyes widened.
"But someone shot him during a robbery and...well...he didn't make it."
'It all fits,' Etsuyo thought to herself. 'Maybe those visions were all of the past...'
"Before he died, he told me to give you these," he said, pulling two books out of his backpack.
Etsuyo took the books. No titles were on the covers. She flipped through them, the pages blank. "What are these?"
"I don't know. All he said was give those to you with this message: 'One is for you and one is for another.' He also told me he had done things he regretted in life...that he wanted you to do better. Perhaps by meeting the other person he talked about."
For the first time in her life, Etsuyo felt tears in her eyes. She'd never cried on the streets, she never could. What good would crying do if you were going to die anyway? Trying to shake off the bad thoughts, her mind reverted to a game she often played, figuring out mysteries. 'Who does this book belong to...'
"Since then, I've heard of someone I have a hunch is the other person."
Etsuyo looked up, shocked. "Dare?"
"I've heard she has blonde hair. That she has a power as well."
Etsuyo gasped. "Orihime-chan?"
"No. It was like...Kiseki or Kikaki...Kisaki! That's what it was."
Etsuyo just stared at him. 'The girl we...killed?'
"Are you okay? You look pale," he told her.
"N-No, I'm fine." 'Orihime-chan...' "We have to go find someone," she told him, standing up. "Wanna come with?"
"Sure," he told her, following right behind her like a little puppy.
"NEE-SAN!" Tsubaki yelled from behind her, wings appearing on her back as she rushed after her sister.

((i brb))
Monique came up next to Ayame.
"What the heck?!" Monique yelled as she heard the gunshot.
Kionu came up and saw the fire. Senkou just stood there.
No...no...Why?
Monique caught Kyori's desperate thinking.
"What is is Kyroi-kun?" Monique asked.
They are everywhere!
Kyori stood there, shivering and wide-eyed.
"Oh no." Monique's mind whizzed.

The bright afternoon sun dimmed. Etsuyo looked up in shock. 'The only one that could do something of that magnitude is...' "Sora-kun," she whispered.
The clouds began to block the sun, their usual white color turning to that of grey.
"Sora-kun, daijoubu?" Orihime asked.
No answer.
The look of horror on her face was unmistakable; her feeling of guilt clouded her judgement. Her right hand, the hand not holding onto Sora, tightened into a fist. 'He's doing all this for me. He's risking his life for me. He's going to...No, he won't.' She wiped horrible thoughts from her mind. 'I can't just sit around and wait. I can't be useless. I'll help Sora-kun, then he won't...' She stopped, horrified of going back on her previous tangent.
She pulled out her key chain. 'Now it's my turn to protect you, Sora-kun.'
Ryu kept up the pace behind his sister. 'What's going on?' he thought. There had been many things he had been through: shootings, foreclosures, prisons, even a gang fight. 'Something of this magnitude...' Every cell in his body screamed trouble.
'Hi,' Orihime called from her thoughts. 'Fire Storm.'
They had finally arrived outside, Orihime having to drag Sora out. A large version of the star, this time black and red, appeared beneath the group of agents.
"Come with us, little girl," the man in the black suit coaxed, his hand outstretched: welcoming her.
"Jigoku ni iku," she growled.
The man straightened up. "Execute them."
Orihime wasn't about to let that happen. The balls of fire fell around them, their trails like the long tails on kites. 'Yes!' Orihime silently celebrated.
Etsuyo saw the large scale magic from far away.
"What the hell is that?" Ryu asked from behind her.
"No idea," she answered simply, picking up the pace.
The balls of fire suddenly stopped. 'What the...'
"Hello, Orihime-KUN," Ugoki emphasized. "I never imagined you would become friends with such lowlifes," she told her, her face one of utter disgust.
"W-What are you..?"
She laughed, almost as evily as Kisaki. "That boy you love right there," she announced, pointing. "Is a MURDERER."
Monique backed away as a team of helicopters zoomed over head. Several FBI vans pulled up to a screching stop as men poured out of the trucks. Ladders dropped from the helicopters as many more men escaped them. Lights flashed from the helicopter blades that sliced the air to keep the helicopter in the damp air. Monique gasped. Kyori resumed stance. Kionu narrowed her gaze and shot her sight from agent to agent. Monique turned her head and trited to get an estimated number of how many officers there were.
"We have you surrounded! Surrender and no one gets hurt!" An officer yelled into the intercom from the helicopter.
"We have you surrounded! Surrender and no one gets hurt!" An officer yelled into the intercom from the helicopter.
Orihime scowled at the helicopter. 'Leave it to them to bring the FBI into this mess...' Then she remembered Ugoki's comment. "What are you talking about?" she asked timidly, not really scared of the answer but just trying to play along so she could learn more about Sora's past. Her plan made her want to smile but instead she bit her lip.
"He never told you?" Ugoki asked.
Etsuyo ran up to Orihime's side, causing her the jump. She whispered an apology then asked: "What's going on here?"
Orihime's head turned back towards Ugoki. "She says Sora's a murderer." She wasn't really in denial but she just couldn't believe Sora would do something like that.
Ugoki smiled slyly, her thin lips curling upward evily. "He shot the entire school."
Etsuyo's eyes widened. She remembered what Ryu told her: 'The entire school was shot at, myself included. They never found the culprit.' 'Sora-kun? There's no way...' "You're lying." She meant for it to sound more sure-footed but it ended up sounding like how a mental patient would announce their diagnosis for the first time.
Ugoki let out a small laugh. "Am I? I'm not the one who had my memories erased."
Shock was the dominant emotion once again on Etsuyo's face. 'H-How did she...' "How do you know something like that?"
Another small laugh. "You didn't know? Then I'll tell you. The former ring..." she started, just as Ryu rejoined the group, "...Was powerful. SO powerful, the US government declared it could destroy the entire capital building, pentagon, and pretty much all of the northern US with a single flick of their fingers. And they ordered the Japanese government to execute them."
Orihime's mouth dropped. 'All this happened to us...because of a superpower like the US?'
Etsuyo gathered herself and appeared apathetic.
"And they tried. One battle, 1,000 agents against 20 Elementals. The Elementals won. But their numbers were significantly weakened: only five of them were left. So they began to look around town, to find anyone who had powers that had even partly matured. Then they found you two murderers."
Etsuyo didn't get why she was grouped in with the murderers and opened her mouth to ask but snapped it shut after Orihime put her hand up.
"Then they erased your memories so they could use you as soldiers with no feelings, something the army had been trying to do for centuries. But the amber alerts were out for both of you and just after erasing part of your memories, the police burst in, guns in hand. I'm not sure what happened next but the ring was disbanded and you two rats scurried away."
'So that's what happened,' Orihime thought, looking at Etsuyo with an apologetic gaze.
The helicopter continued to sound overhead where no other words were spoken. The FBI agents grabbed everyone, including Etsuyo who let herself be caught. 'All this...all because I'm an Elemental...'
Orihime fussed and kicked and tried everything to get back to Sora's passed out form. Finally, the men just tied the two of them together. Orihime still pouted like a two-year old not getting her way, though.
Ryu glanced from behind the trees. He bit back a gasp as he saw everyone being tied up. 'I have to do something,' he thought. He finally pulled up his sleeve and gently touched the giant tattoo on his arm. The dragon's eyes glowed white. "Akio," he whispered. The glowing eyes turned orange then stopped and he put his sleeve back down. 'Now only to wait a bit...'

Monique struggled against the grip of the rope.
"Let me go! Kyori!" She yelled.
Kionu shook her head, staying still.
Chikara roared in pain as they strapped the roped tighter around her wrists so she could not force-feild her way out.
Kyori barked and barked, but the cage just rebounded her power. Inu could not reach Ritoru to team up, and when he tried to howl fire, only puffs of smoke exhaled from him. Ritoru leyed on the floor of the cage, alone and scared.
Senkou screamed and kicked as the agents tied him down. They soon gave up as he flashed between posts. They grabbed him firmly and threw him into a cage that was like the dogs', only bigger.
"Kyori!" Monique started to cry, wishing she was not an Elemental and only a normal teenager with a bunch of normal friends on a normal trip to the mall with out twenty thousand agents surrounding her.
Kionu stood there still, thinking of a way out.
Chikara shook her head,"It's no use. These ropes are made to contain any power we use so they can test with it in there rat labs!"
Senkou pounded against the sound proof cage walls.
'Please let us leave. I can't let any one down.' Monique thought sadly.
Kyori looked at Monique.
I'm sorry. I am wanted by the FBI. I should have told you. Me and Inu. That's why Chikara sent us away.
Chikara nodded,"She speaks only the truth Monique."
"Lie!" Monique sobbed.
"Let me go! Kyori!" She yelled.

"You all look different. Who's who?" She asked, wondering if anyone else could tell the cloudyness had left her eyes.
