"We're gonna be late! Just eat on the way to school!"

"That's easy for you to say," Orihime shot back at her brother through a mouthful of food.
"Manners."
Orihime mimicked him. "Manners," she said in a sarcastic tone.
Her brother only sighed.

"Come on, Kionu. We're late already." Kionu rapidly got ready and the girls dashed out the door.
When close enough to the school, they slowed down.

"Oh, them? Those are the girls that live a few blocks away. Um...Kionu and...Monica...or...no, Monique."
"Let's go say hi," Orihime started enthusiastically, practically dragging Ayame off her bike.

Ayame sighed. "Hi," she stated blankly, the expression on her face obviously saying 'i don't want to be here'.

"Hi! I'm Kionu." SHe announced proudly.
Monique rolled her eyes and said,"Monique. Hi there."

Monique stared at the girls blankly.

"Hey. That's my seat."
She looked up to see the most popular girl in class, Kiku.
Mod
"No assigned seating." She retorted.
Mod
"Back off of Kiku-sama!" they announced in unison.
Orihime and Ayame just sat in their seats, dumbfounded.

"No. Just stay put. We'll see how this turns out." And she turned back, unconcerned, to the two debating girls.
Orihime just looked at her, then uncertainly turned her gaze back to Monique and Kiku.

"But..."
"Don't worry," she told her, then lowered her voice even farther, "I can tell." Orihime instantly knew what she meant.
"Oh," she whispered back and settled back into the chair. "No," she told the pampered brat in a confident voice.

"Great job, Monique-sama." She high-fived her sis and winked at her.

Kionu stared at Kira and then turned back to her paper.

Another note landed in Orihime's hand. She held it under the table, carefully examining the scribbled handwriting.
What's with the new girls?
She craned her neck to get a good view at the girls in the corner. She wrote back:
I don't know...
The next note came back fast.
They can do something!
What?
She again turned her attention back to the new girls. Before she knew it, an expo marker came flying at her forehead. She skillfully caught it. The rest of the students ooh-ed and ahh-ed.
"Pay attention please, Kirigami-chan." Her last name sounded foreign to her. She just stared at her desk while the teacher continued her drawn-out speech.
(Note: Shay, the honorific -sama means lord or lady, if you are doing sisters that are close, you would probably want to use -kun which means friend. Just fyi :))

I think they're catching on to us.
Orihime stared at the note and chanced another glance at the girls. One had a horrible expression on her face and the other an evil smile. She began to wonder what was going on over there.
Can you chance another look? Try to figure out what's going on over there.
Ayame glanced at the note, sighed, and used her power again.
"Wow, I can't believe these people can listen to this hag for so long."
She couldn't stand another second in that girl's head. What kind of person thinks things like that? This time, the grimance was on her face. She wrote back:
That girl's a brat and a teme.

"Kionu." Monique snapped quietly.
Mod
The entire classroom jumped to their feet. The teacher who had revealed herself as Higarashi-sensei just stared blankly at Orihime, amazed and insulted at her disrespect. "What is it now?" she asked, baffled by what else my happen that day.
"M-M-M-M..."
"Mouse," Ayame said from behind her in a straight voice.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT SO EASILY?! THOSE ARE DISGUSTING CREATURES!" she yelled.
"Ms.Kirigami! Please be seated and prevent further outbursts."
Orihime just gawked at the teacher, amazed that she wasn't doing anything about it.
"She won't be able to sit down until it's out of the classroom," Ayame told her in a sweet voice. "I'll remove it for you." She smiled at the thought of messing with Kionu. The truth was, she was actually very mischevious.
She slowly approached the rodent, picking it up by its tail to cause her the most pain, and jauntily tossed her out the window. Let's see how you handle a five-story fall, she thought to herself, and quietly went back to her seat.

"You guys are real helpfull."

"Ayame-kun," Orihime whispered. "Do you think it's dead?"
"Most likely." She listened for any random thoughts down below but couldn't be sure. "I can't hear anything."
"Okay. Next time...if one comes-" Her warning was inturrupted by a sharpie whacking the back of her head.
"Kirigami-chan..." the teacher started, "One more word from you and you'll be in ISS so fast your head'll spin."
"I'll tell you after class." And tried to act like an angel the rest of the school day.

Kionu smiled and turned back into a mouse, climbing through the window.

"Yeah, it was her."
The entire classroom fell silent. The teacher wore an expression a mix of awe, horror, and fear.

"Tah dah." She squeaked, not as a mouse.

Orihime stood up, ignoring her promise not to make any more outbursts. "What...the...HELL?!"
Ayame stood up and tried to calm her friend.
"What is going on here?!" She shook her head as if she was going crazy and ran outside.
Ayame followed close behind.

"Kionu! How many times must I say it?! Stop shifting when you shouldn't!" Monique snapped.

"Some girl from the drama class said they were doing a play out here."
What?
"Orihime-kun, what's wrong?"
"Someone..."

"Orihime-kun!" Ayame exclaimed, kneeling beside her unconcious best friend.

"Kira?"

She jumped to her feet. "It did?"
"Yeah, come on, let's go home."
Orihime couldn't wait to get away from the devil's mansion they called "school", a place all children were condemned to suffer until age 18. As she ran in the opposite direction of the crowd, trying to avoid idle groups, she wished she could just use her power to fly up to the classroom. But instead she resolved herself to saving that for tonight: the night of the full moon. Her favorite night.

Orihime sighed. She looked up at the moon. She was so much like it. She hid her true self sometimes and showed it sometimes. Just like the new and full moon. She felt a chill go down her spine. Why was she always like this? She doubted herself, even when she knew she shouldn't.
She sighed again and sat down on the rough shingles of the house nearby. Did anyone understand her? Really understand her? She felt something wet roll down her cheek. She was alone.
Suddenly, a bright flash appeared. She was temporarily blinded. Was this a...key? She grabbed it carefully. The light instantly disappeared.
A small, sparkling bright yellow key appeared in her hand. She marveled at it for a few seconds before dropping it in shock. "Ah! What the heck is that thing?!" she told herself, watching it slowly slide down the rooftop.
She flew downward using her wind power and again picked it up. Where did it come from? What was it?
Please stop referring to me as "it".
She dropped whatever-it-was again. Just what the hell happened just now?
Then a brilliant idea crossed her mind. She tried to get some lightning between her fingertips. Nothing. What was this?
She picked up the key again.
You need me to use thunder.
This time she didn't drop it. "Who are you?" she asked.
Isn't it obvious? I'm Raikou, the lightning spirit.
"Seirei ka?" she asked aloud.
That's what I am.
"Okay Raikou, i believe you."
A sudden flash of light and the teenage girl appeared. She looked to be about 18 or 19. "Are you...?"
"Yes, I'm Raikou. Let's not stay out here forever, you'll catch a cold."

Monique stared outside her window. It was a full moon. She knew she was looking at the at the same moon as Orihime. It started to rain and she looked at her clock. It was 12:02 am. Surely she was tired, but she felt wide awake. It poored heavier. A bright flash appeared from nowhere. Had Orihime been blinded too. Monique got her vision back and she stared at the ground. She discovered a small, well rounded peice of water glass. She picked it up.
"What the heck happened?" She questioned the air around her.
She felt the glass quiver. Monique threw the glass out the window and into her back yard. Rushing down stairs, she oddly woke up Inu. Inu, her black shiba, charged at Monique, slamming himself against her and shivered. Monique opened the back door and another clap of thunder melted through the sky. Inu bolted outside and started barking feircly at the sky. Monique found the glass before Inu and looked at it more closely.
You found me.
Monique pulled it closer.
"And you are?" She asked sassily.
Mizu, the rain spirit.
"Seirei ka?" She questioned oddly.
The thunder slammed the gentle sky with a great boom, sending a flash of yellow after. A teenager appeared afterward. She looked no younger than 16."You are..."
"Yes. I'm Mizu. Go on inside with me." She nodded.
Inu followed up and Monique could here Ritoru from inside.
((Mizu=water, Inu=dog, Ritoru=little))

Orihime woke to the sound of someone singing. So it wasn't just a dream, she thought. She slowly opened her eyes as if the speed would change reality.
"Okirou ka?" Raikou asked, throwing her a pile of clothes.
"These don't even match!" Orihime complained, throwing them back at her.
"Don't like my style. I see how it is," Raikou grumbled, sifting through Orihime's closet. "How about this one?" She held up another horrible match.
"No." Orihime got up and picked out her school uniform. "Required," she told her in a sassy, somewhat "duh" voice.
"Oh."
"Why are you even here anyway? Much less picking out my clothes."
"Because you need me."
Orihime rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry, I can get dressed by myself."
"No, not that, the time."
Orihime's head whipped around to stare at her alarm clock. 8:10?! Ayame would be here any second! "Why didn't it go off?!" she asked as she hurriedly got dressed.
"It made an annoying sound, so I turned it off."
Orihime only blankly stared at her. "I can't believe you..." She didn't finish the rest of her hate-filled sentence.
"Orihime-kun!? Are you ready yet?" Ayame called from below.
"Crap," Orihime said to no one in particular, looking around for her purple brush.
"Here," Raikou told her, throwing her the overused object.
"Arigato...lie, matte, Arigatonai." And she turned around, giving her the cold shoulder.
Despite this, Raikou smiled. "You're welcome." And she disappeared.
Orihime turned around. "Raikou?"
No answer.
The room suddenly felt empty and lonely.
"Come on! We're already late! Orihime-kun?!"
She snapped out of it and leaned out the window. "I'm coming!" she called and turned to run out the door but suddenly jerked to a halt. She turned around, thought twice, and grabbed the bright, yellow key.

"Hey, Ayame, wanna come for a sleepover at my house today?"
"Are you sure? I mean, wouldn't your brother want to know?"
"Oh, he'll be fine. So...you wanna come?"
"Sure, I'll go straight to your house."
"Okay!"

"Ritoru! What's this? Its dangerous." She said, picking the glass peice from his collar.
"Keep that." Mizu came up behind her.
Monique nodded. She and Ritoru went home with Mizu.
When inside, Monique discovered Inu at the back door.
"Okay." Monique opened the back door and looked at Inu's collar to find another glass peice.
Mizu took all three peices and put them together like a puzzle. Inu and Ritoru slammed into eachother and became a giant mutant dog. The back gate clicked it ended.

"We have to go back to the school," Ayame warned. I have a bad feeling about all of this.
Orihime noticed the glass pieces Monique was holding. Then she saw a flash of something behind her. Another seirei?

Monique looked at the glass puzzle and saw Orihime and Ayame before turning away, still stunnned.
Mizu disappeared and clenched the key. She slithered over to Orihime.
"I am Mizu. Take this and don't free it till you get home." Mizu whispered before walking back over to Monique.
Monique turned around and fled over to Orihime and Ayame.
"Hello. Would you like to come in?" Monique offered, trying not to show her suprise.
