My friend read a book years ago & can't remember the title or author. It is driving her crazy! It's about a warlock that shape shifts to a black wolf. He writes computer software for computer games. She thinks the setting is Oregon. There's something about frai blood. If anyone could help us solve this puzzle it would be awesome!

Well, there's Operation Chaos: A Novel, by Poul Anderson. It features a werewolf and takes place in Oregon, although I don't remember anything about computers. It also has a sequel; Operation Luna.
Thanks for the info Michelle. She specifically said that the main character is a warlock that shape shifts into a wolf. While in his "human" form he makes computer gaming software. The setting is Oregon.
There's a Nora Roberts book about a woman who retreats to a cabin in the NW woods, possibly Oregon. She meets a wolf who turns out to be a warlock who does create computer games. I think it belongs to the Donovan series, or is peripheral to it.
Oh yeah, the wolf/warlock/gamer is also the heir to the king of the ?fairies? ?warlocks? well, something. Maybe that's where the "frai" came from.
Enchanted (Donovan Legacy #4). Originally published by Silhouette, then with #3 Charmed as a double). Rowan Murray and Liam Donovan are the characters. And it is set in the Oregon woods!

I'm going to move it to solved so let us know if it's not the book, Dorsi.
